Hey guys I was wondering, I don't have a scale accurate enough yet to
mesure mg's. For this reason I plan to mix the chem with water ie.200mg/100ml water. I am most certian that I will now use all 200mg in one sitting. So I was thinking what would be the best way to store it? If left in the fridge it has the potential to evaporate some and become unknowingly stronger. So I then thought that the freezer would be a better storage area. Does anyone know if freexing it would harm the chem? thanks Q |

What are you trying to store?
I assume when you wrote "I will now use" you meant "I will NOT use"? Otherwise, evaporation wonīt be a problem. Freezing is a great way to stablize a chem. When itīs frozen, the molecules donīt move around and donīt bump into things that harm them like oxygen molecules etc. I have this on good authority from a chemist friend. Freezing will not harm almost any molecule, especially drugs. I would go with that method.

oops I meant I will advise a friend that the freezing method will be
good option. I think he is trying to obtain some 2c i,e and tma-2, since that is what he beleives is availible to him. thanks |

Almost every chemist friend of mine stores their 2C research chemicals in a good old freezer. You'll be fine

From personal experience, I doubt that freezing these is even 100% necessary, as these molecules are VERY stable. Protecting them from light and heat wont hurt them though and itīs always better safe than sorry.
If you (or your friend) does freeze them, make sure they are sealed well (like in vials) and let them come back up to room temperature completely before opening the containers or moisture will condense on the inside and on the powder, and this is FAR more harmful than letting them sit at room temperature. Trust me, I learned this the hard way!!! |

Oh, oops, I forgot we started out talking about disolving them in water first!
Ignore all that babble about condensation, unless of course you ever decide to store powders...

Swim has a bottle of 2C-T7 and 2C-T2 since 1999 stored in a cool (65 degrees) dark place and both are still as potent as ever. Matter of fact Swims collection started then over time accumlated with additional RCs. All have maintain their integerity. There is only one suspect and that is 2C-E. However, swim doesn't know if this is due to familiarity with the item, tolerance, or that the 2C-E is actually losing its potency(obtained in 2004). Whereas swim was taking about 25 mg now swim must take twice as much to experience same effects. This has not been the case with other 2Cs stored in the same manner. Stashed in a cool dark place inside a closed glass vial in a safe place away from people is the best way, swim would not put them in a place that is being accessed daily such as the freezer. Security!!!

Vacuum sealed in the freezer - its the only way to be sure
