Man in hospital after drug deal

A young man was taken to hospital and put on a life support machine after buying an experimental drug being sold by dealers in a Surrey town centre.
Police said hallucinogenic and psychedelic research drugs were being dealt illegally in Guildford.

The young man has come off life support and is now breathing on his own.

"Officers are concerned that anyone else who buys this drug in either liquid or tab form might not be so lucky," said a police spokeswoman.

"This should serve as a warning."

Officers are appealing to anyone who has information about the dealers or the drugs to contact Surrey Police or Crimestoppers.

No info on what 'psychedelic research drug' the man had consumed...

liquid or tab form... what is common as this? RC's are often dosed volumetrically or in powder form. From this it seems like someone mentioned RC's to the police. Not sure what is in tablet as well, would be nice if they said which form and route this person. Is also odd they say it was because he bought them not because he ingested them.

Maybe they are just staying quiet for now. Hopefully this is an isolated incident.
