Other cacti worth experiementing with?

i'd like to know what other cacti are worth experimenting. i knows there many (really many) which contain interesting alkaloids, but most of the time in amounts that arefor most swimmers not intersting. are there, except for the the mescaline ones, other ones that are actually interesting for "the average simmer" (i.e. not too many plants not too much work not a big chemistry thing etc)
