Smoking - Hotboxing... To do Or not to do...

If SWIM were to hotbox weed in SWIM room with some buddies. how long would it take for the smell to go away?

(SWIM isnt allowed to smoke at home and if SWIMs mum were to smell it DAMN SWIM would be in shit)

One method that works well is the utilization of what my friends called a sploof. A Sploof is is some sort of device that holds in dryer sheets, the things used in laundry. Then exhale through the dryer sheets with little to no weed smell at all. Use the roll from paper towels or a water bottle with the bottom chopped off. be sure to secure the dryer sheets, usually 2-3 are used, with tape of some sort.

edit: don't just blow the smoke into the tube. Stick lips up into the tube to make a seal, otherwise it won't work.

Sploof always works remarkably well if executed correctly. As far as hotboxing, SWIM can't imagine the smell would go away nearly as easily as a bong or pipe, but if there are lots of windows and SWIY has several fans, the scent could probably be evacuated quickly. Unfortunately SWIM suspects that at least a slight scent of marijuana would linger for some time after that.

My friend says:
Try a Hawaiian hot box. To do this, go into your bathroom and turn on all hot water sources. Make sure your door is closed, then light up. It will get very smoky and steamy, which I find quite relaxing. After you're done, turn on your ceiling fan, and the smell is gone. This always works for me. I recommend smoking a joint while taking a shower. It makes your shower all smoky, you probably get a little more baked off the second hand to. Just make sure not to get the joint wet!

so far though ill. have a window open and blow the smoke out the window. ill stick a towel at the bottom of my door so no smell gets stuck there. then once im done ill burn incense to mask it.

Visine eye drops work perfectly. You can get them for your dog at any drug store or even maybe grocery store/convienice store. http://www.visine.ca/en/original.asp
Should only be about 5-10 dollars for a thing that will last a long time.

Get a balloon, exhale into the balloon. Hold it shut, then release the smoke wherever is convenient.

Hot boxing is kinda fun when swia is in a position to be more stealthy so to speak she often used incenses 2 at most depending on the number of people smoking at a given time, a towel is placed to cover the gap to the entrench of the room at the bottom of the door. also lots of excellent hiding places are discovered before hand as well so everything can be hid if your expecting someone to come see you.

Portable odor eaters, incense, and a towel placed beneath the door, try and open a window periodically. else dont hot-box. even thou its funs.

Its a big room.The incense in our case is mainly for people who smoke tobacco we do not like the smell. But mostly the old place that used to be hot boxed was only between a small group, hence no incense needed.

hot box was one of the childlike charms of smoking green which is no longer needed to get high. when getting high works with less smoke!

Hey... my imaginary friend told me i could make a vaporizer out of a light bulb.... vaporizers seam pretty cool.

My imaginary friend isnt exactly on the money end of the deal and cant really get loads of pot to test the differences between different ways of "consuming" this substance. (He is at school doing law XD.. ah yes ever stoners can do law + law seams so much easier when high.. and really has no time for work thus he lives with his parents - hence this thread)

Swim's friends generally use the term hot box to refer to smoking in a small space, such as a car, with the windows, etc. sealed so the smoke collects, rather than quickly dissipating.

In answer to the thread question, probably not a good idea because in Swim's experience the scent tends to get caught in the upholstery and linger.

SWIM found that he grows a "tolerance" of some sort to Visine if used regularly; his eyes will remain red even after using the Visine for a while. He has since started using Bausch & Lomb advanced eye relief (redness) and has had 100% fool-proof results. He believes this is because the active ingredient in B&L is superior to that in Visine (Naphazoline HCL vs. Tetrahydrozoline HCL). SWIM would suggest anyone give it a try, as he also believes the lubricant may be superior as well, putting less stress on his eyes in the long run .

If your dog is going for the most stealth approach, SWIM suggest using a vaporizer. When SWIM uses his (Volcano) there is no smell really, other than a slight burnt popcorn smell. Only downside is the cost.
