the reason im posting this on the DMT thread is because the "creator" of this "drug" refers to it as a potent psychedelic similar to DMT in many ways. However, I can't find any resources that describe effects, toxicity, or even mention of this chemical. I was wondering if anyone here has heard of it or knows what it is capable of/safe etc. According to the video (ill post link) the chemist adds alot of chemicals that would not be removed from the crude product (acetaminophen being one that readily comes to mind). I have no idea where the chemist got the IUPAC name because so many of the reactants are not listed.

Anyway, anyone who is better at chemistry than me who could take a look at this and give me their two cents would be greatly appreciated thanks!

I get it. It's supposed to be funny. But you know some stupid kid somewhere is going to think that post is real and is going to try it. It’s just plain irresponsible to post something like that without stating that it’s meant to be joke. You know, if some kid tries that and ends up sick, they could sue that guy.

Some of those types of video posts are real. I’ve seen one from a guy showing how he extracted mescaline. I heard that they tracked the video post to his house and he was arrested. I heard that they were able to positively identify his house as being the source of the video based on the IP address and personal articles present in the house that were present in the video. With that evidence he was convicted. That’s just what I heard. I don’t know if that’s true or not.

Whenever posting anything like that, it should be filmed from a location that is not identifiable. It’s best to use a completely white background and only the items needed for the video. There should be no personal belongings present. If any hands must be present, they should be covered with thick gloves so that features of the hands cannot be identified. No other body parts should be shown. The posting should come from a cafe or library where it cannot be linked to you.

Even though this O-U-T video is a joke, he can still get into legal trouble if some kid follows his instructions, and gets sick from using the product. The guy who posted this particular O-U-T video can be easily identified by the following items:

* identifiable articles in the house (bicycle, dresser, exercise equipment, shelves, etc.)
* house interior showing identifiable features of the house architecture
* hands shown without gloves
* parts of the face shown uncovered
* entire face shown near the end that is warped using software. Software exists that can de-warp his face to show exactly what he looks like. VERY BAD.

This is a very good example of how to get yourself in trouble with the law. Once this video is posted YOU CANNOT REMOVE IT FROM THE INTERNET. There might be hundreds of copies of it that have been download by people all over the world and it might get posted over and over again for many years. That’s NOT GOOD.

I highly recommend NOT posting anything like that, no matter how careful you think you are.

If one knows only the slightest bit about chemistry, one can see from the name that it is nothing real. If he at least would have tried to use some reasonable nomenclature...

For knowledgeable people, like most here at this forum, it's obviously fake. The thing that’s scary is that I can imagine some kids somewhere getting together to try this out.

I think it’s irresponsible to assume everyone out there watching that video is going to know it’s a joke.

The guy who made that video should put a disclaimer at the beginning or the end stating that it’s a joke and that people shouldn’t actually try it. If that was done, then I don’t see any problem posting something like that. But without a disclaimer it’s dangerous.

Wouldn’t you hate to see one of your kids or friends end up in the hospital because they inhaled all those toxic fumes thinking they’re going to get high? Or worse, what if they ingested it orally and died? I don’t see anything funny about that.
