SWIM is still not sure what would be a good starting point for
p.torch catus 20g ?

That seems a good amount. Granted, this is more than likely to produce a pretty mild trip, but when SWIM took 20g, it just happened to be pretty intense (strong cactus + low tolerance), and propelled him into a seriously unpleasant first psychedelic experience. This is rare, in fact I could count on one hand the number of bad experience reports of mescaline I've read, but starting at 20g seems as good a place as any. Try 30g if SWIY wants to err on the stronger side, and just wants a significant experience rather than a necessarily pleasant one.
