Smoking - Vaporized Calea Zacatechichi

Just tried vaporizing a few grams of Calea at 250F...*much* more pronounced effect than smoking. Seems like some of the actives in the plant are lost due to too much heat.

Crept up slowly to a moderate 'stoned but trippy' feeling, audio was certainly enhanced. Short duration though..~20 minutes and Im back to baseline. Ive smoked this herb in conjunction with MJ before and the two do have a synergistic effect. Vaporizing has produced the best results by far from using the plant by itself, and with the least quantity of plant material. (~600mg)

Planning to take ~4g capped powdered leaves and flowers before bed...hoping to report back tomorrow with positive results.

Well, 10 caps and still no lucid dreams...

I didnt go lay down immediately after ingestion though, as opposed to the traditional method which says to rest immediately after ingestion, smoke some Calea and then drift off to sleep when you can hear your heart beating.

Instead I stayed up noodling around on the computer - I did feel an intense wave of drowsiness however and colors/audio seemed slightly enhanced...Ill have to give it another run in a few days and adhere to the proper method.

Only negative effects noted were *very* slight nausea...I also felt kind of 'out of it' this morning until I was up for around 4 hours or so.

some lemur i know made a tea of cz [hed quit smoking]. it was horrible tasting n he was inconclusive bout dream-enhancement. hes gonna try again.
