Adderal to Sulphate

SWIM has 100 mg of adderall xr and doesn't like the affects as much as dexedrine or hydrochloride salts. Would it be possible to convert this small amount of amp into another salt either sulphate or HCl. SWIM knows it can be done but, would it be worth it. Also Would he be able to collect this small amount of product when he has finished extracting. Please provide a good solvent for amp freebase as well.

SWIM thinks that, hell no, it's not worth the effort, which by his estimation would be a MASSIVE effort. Theoretically it goes like this:

-Begin with 25% dextro-sulfate, 25% dextro-saccharate, 25% racemic aspartate monohydrate, and 25% racemic sulfate.

-First one needs to convert all these salts to freebase. Problems: unsure whether different salts would need different solutions, who knows if the Microtrol components would be affected too (SWIM can find no info on Microtrol because it's patented proprietary)

-Next seperate the ~27% of levoamphetamine from the mixture. Problem: we are talking chiral resolution since we start with the blend of d & l. requires working with ether, only a 50% yield, not always perfect results, although high purity can be achieved.

-If one managed step two, then re-creating a dex-sulfate is easy from here.

Way too much work for SWIM....he'll just eat the pill.

Will SWIM is a ex cook of meth and he knows that if SWIY hits amphetamines with acetone. The acetone should get rid of everything but the amphetamines and the acetone with evaporate and SWIY can do what every with the finish product. Now SWIM does not knowwhat is all in adderall and not sure what SWIY is wanting to extract but if its just the amphetamine SWIY wants just put some acetone on it and bam thats its. SWIM used to do that when he had some product he cut with msm or something and he wanted to do it. He would do that. The acetone will not take any of the amphetamines away so SWIY will get back 100% yield what what was in it. But SWIM is not to sure how much is in each pill. Give that a try if SWIY wants and PM SWIM and let him know how it went.

There is never 100% yield, haha, it seems, never. Maybe close. However, you will still have 27% of your product being levo-amphetamine. Therefore, this is not pure dex-amp sulfate. BTW, if SWIM recalls correctly, 30mg Adderall has about 22.2mg of freebase amphetamine, therefore about 16mg dextro, and then SWIM isn't going to bother readding the mass of the salting process.

Will SWIM was letting him know from SWIMs experience that acetone will get rid of all the junk he does not want. And SWIY will get 100% yield back because amphetamines will not dissolve in acetone therefore will be there after the acetone dissolves. Because it will either gave SWIY all of it back or none of it back. It doesn`t choice how every much it wants to dissolve. It will either dissolve or it want dissolve there is no in between.

There is no in between? Well, first of all almost everything can hold on to a bit of anything, it is just a matter of how much. Secondly, filtering poses more problems to 100% yields. One can speak in theory all they want but one often loses a little bit of something despite even the most care.

Best bet isn't filtration. Create the freebase, add the acetone, and salt with the acid while in the acetone is seems...following this with washing would be great for purity.

Problem with the acetone wash is its very hard to find anhydrous acetone. If SWIM has any water in the acetone he will be losing amphetamine. SWIM would assume using a desiccant such as anhydrous magnesium sulphate would work to dehydrate acetone. Which would be better for insufflation HCl or sulphate. I'm assuming HCl is probably more water soluble and decomposes more slowly as is the case with most HCl salts.
