Health - Can cocaine cause angioedema?

I had a question about a possible side effect of cocaine use. SWIM recently moved to latin america and has enjoyed the cheap availability of cocaine once every week or two. Two or three of these times he has developed angioedema a day or two after usage, lasting 2-6 days around his eyes/mouth and mildly around his nose. He is not 100% it was the cocaine usage, and did not result after all usages. It could also be some strange pollen from the jungle blowing inside on his pillow?(it is worst in the morning with eyes swollen) Just wondering if anyone has heard of any similar reactions - and if it did would its onset be instant or delayed?
