Sniffing 60 MG MS Contin

I have 60 mg of MS contin, they have a imprint of 60 on one side and E on the other side. It is an extended release and put on by Purdue Frederick. Here is a picture of the pill http://www.ethex.com/pages/prod_page...ID=58177033004
What I want to know is "can i sniff this pill? Do i have to scrape off the outside coating or is the time release actually in the pill itself. It doesn't seem to have an outer coating like oxycontin. Please let me know. Thanks.

Swim does not advice sniffing these. Your nose will hurt, bad. Swiy should just chew them and eat them. The bioavailability is similar, but insufflation of MScontin is a waste of time. Swim can attest to this personally.

Careful coming close to pill ID'ing . .

Morphine sulphate is in a sulphate salt form obviously so it is absorbed quicker when snorted. As the morphine salt easily dissolves in the sinus cavity it is MORE bioavailavle through the mucus membrane.

Other things which are not present in a water soluble form (or not a salt form) cannot be snorted.

Rub off the outer waxy coating with a wet tissue and then dry the pill IMMEDIATELY.
They are time released so one would want to crush them before snorting. They contain a wax and some of this residue will either be snotted back out into a tissue the next day or will ultimately end up in SWIyour stomach.

This wax can be removed by heating the pill in a small amount of water gently (try not to bubble) and suck the liquid up into a syringe through a pill filter. This resulting liquid can then be "hot railed" or it can be squirted out onto something in a small puddle CAREFULLY to be dried out, SWIM would recommend a small glass dish for this in theory.

Care is advised with dosage. This method will come on a hell of a lot quicker and SWIyour body may not be ready to accept 60mg all at once. Know ones limits is the key.
