XTC and anxiety? noob questions

My friend doesn't have a computer, but he needed some help with his problems, so here he is:


Hi, I've used E a few times with no problems whatsoever. I'm emetophobic, which is irrational fear of vomiting, and this christmas eve we just had, i dry heaved. (i wasnt on E, i was sick) I know this sounds really stupid, but it is a real problem for me. Well, since this night on christmas eve, i've developed anxiety over the issue, and i've experienced moderate panic attacks. I've been perscribed Xanax, the .5mg ones (peach color) to counteract the panic attacks or anxiety that i've been suffering from.


Well, I've had the chance to do E again, but i've been hesitant, because i read on Erowid that E can cause sever panic attacks, and i was curious if i would be putting myself in a more dangerous situation by doing it now, while i'm having anxiety problems.


Ofcourse, this leads to my next question... would it be a bad idea to take Xanax at anytime with E (before, during, etc) because that would help with the anxiety or panic attacks, but i don't know if that would be a dangerous combination.


Also, how often do people vomit when on e? I've done it three times (before the anxiety incident) and never became nausious or vomited, but since i AM emetophobic, and i'd rather be punched in the face 50 times than puke, i'm a little worried now...

not much of a expert but i think they give xanax to bad trippers , so i wouldnt think it would do any harm. dont take this advise seriously though , as Im not sure,

Dont take Xananx and roll, not a good idea. Dont worry the only time people usually vomite on E is when there is a lot of heroin in the pill. but ive never gotten anxiety from E, So you will be alright if u roll, just dont take xanax the day ur gonna roll....... Get back to me on how it works out

i often feel nauseous when im coming up if ive been dancing loads and not replacing sugars. make sure, if your dancing or something, you drink some lucozade or similar to replace your sugar. other than that, ive never had e cause me to be sick or even feel sick.

if you overdose you WILL vomit, so watch the dosage and you should be
fine, not sure thou but i have heard that doing xanax with e increases
the chance of overdosing dramatically.

Unfortunetly, vomiting is very common with XTC. It usually happens few minutes before the E kicks in..I've had over 100 pills and had never to throw up. It usually happens to girls (so I've noticed). Or If it happend to you the first time then it usually will happen the second or the third time..

I have found a couple of people who have to take pills in halves (half
an hour after the other or whatever) in order to avoid throwing
up. I have dry heaved after a very strong dose of MDMA a couple
of times.

I didn't read all the replies so sorry if anything I say is redundant.


I throw up almost every time I roll, and I only take one or two pills. The chemicals can be harsh on the tummy tum so a lot of people often get nauseus or puke NO MATTER WHAT is in the pill. MDMA is enough to get you to be named ralph.


Also, I've heard if you're taking anti-depressant or anxiety meds, it's not a good idea to use E, as it can cause complications or a crappy roll.


If you still really want to use, I'd suggest you take it in a place where you're comfortable and surrounded with people you trust and will comfort you if you feel a panic attack coming on.


One last word of quazi-wisdom, you might try buying these wristband things that are made for people with motion sickness. I had then when I was younger, they have a little plastic ball that presses on a pressure point on your wrist and helps prevent you from getting nauseus. There's also pills that do the same. trust me I have rediculus anxeity ( about a multatude of things ) and
when i roll alllllllllllllllll my symptoms go away so just roll and be
happy
