Dextroamphetamine Sulfate

SWIM Got 10mg caps of Dextroamphetamine and was taking them regularly to help him in school.. After about a week they did nothing.. and now taking about 30mg helps. SWIM wants to know why docters keep giving him minimal doses, and if its better to snort them.

Odd SWIM just asked his doc for these (Has been thru Adderall XR, Adderall, Ritlian but those have to many side effects) and receieved a script for 60 10mg Dexto-Amphetamine SR capsules (extended release) to take twice daily. But SWIM just tryed snorting a few small lines of the crushed up beads... no polymers have swolled up in the cavitys yet, but SWIM does feel a slight irritation. So basicly if you can deal with it go ahead and try it.

But yah if your doc is as resonable as SWIM's doc just suggest being moved up to 15mg ones on your next appointment. Tell him its not quite as effective anymore.

Yeah, SWIM finds it a little irritating when snorting, SWIM just snorted 30mg and popped 20 mg, and in the snorting SWIM found it irritating and a bit sticky.. and they didnt crush up into that great of a powder.. and yeah SWIM cant seem to get prescribed a good dose, and the prescriptions have no refills, and dont seem to last as good as SWIM wishes, but still keeps SWIM awake, which is unfortunate because SWIM already has sleep issues. Do u know all the doses the drug comes in? like 10 / 15 / ? / ?, because SWIM knows 15 isnt going to do any better if taken regularly, which SWIM did the first week or 2 but it didnt seem to affect SWIM and the tolerence is obviously shot up.

Hmmm well the SR tabs i guess SWIM and you are takeing come in just 10,15 mgs SWIM believes not sure on the non extended release mgs though
