Re: Spectrum Health Systems Inc Outpatient Services, Worcester
this is swims clinic. he likes it very much.
it offers 60 and 90 day methadone detoxs, methadone maintenance, offers vivotrol shots to alcoholics, and drug councelling. those on methadone maintenance are given a councellor they meet with weekly for the first 2 months and bi-weekly after that, they are also assigned to a group for group councelling which is weekly. after 3 clean drug tests you get take homes, after a year of passing all drug tests you get 6 take-home doses a week (the most they allow), but if your going on vacation you can be given more (swim knows someone who got 15 take homes when he went to california on vacation). they accept all insurances and expect you to pay the co-pay which your insurance defines. they wont kick you right off if you cant pay, they'll try to work a payment system convinent to you up, at worse they'll properly detox you and send you on your way (which could take months.) if you dont have insurance you just pay $15 a week and the department of health of massachusetts picks up the tab, while this is done the clinic activly trys to get you on MASSHEALTH the states free health insurance system for low income people, they helped swim get this (now he pays absolutely nothing to be on the clinic ).well thats swims additional info on and review of the clinic hope it helped someone. |
