most effective way to take opiates?

for a longer effect.. does the higher the dose mean longer the high, or
just more of the high? and is it better to take them all at once or
spread it out?

iv > im > smoked > snorted (if pure powder + h2o soluble) > plug > orally

however, most opiates have a good bioavailability, so why not eat them unless you are looking for the rush.
