caffeine overdose?

hey swim is planning on trying some codeine with his friend. They have never tried any opiates before and have no urge to try any other opiates aside from codeine. They are puzzled by the possibility of a caffeine overdose since their pills will have a high concentration of caffeine. SWim thinks this is probably a really stupid question but still wants some confirmation that it is impossible.
Thanks.

Re: caffeine overdose?

The question whether one should be concerned about a caffeine overdose from codeine/caffeine tablets can not be answered unless we know what amounts of codeine and caffeine are in each tablet and what the planned dose of codeine is.

Also, I assume that the pills contain no acetaminophen (APAP, paracetamol) or if they do contain paracetamol, that a cold water extraction will be performed. Otherwise a paracetamol overdose would be more worrisome than too much caffeine.

Re: caffeine overdose?

Get active charcoal from local pet shop (it's used for aquarium water filters)

Use 2 coffee filters, or double folded t-shirt.

Put active charcoal inside it (between 2 filters or between folds of the t-shirt)

Filter your cwe trough it

Enjoy your codeine without most of caffeine

p.s.

Just did this tonite for the first time with 500 10mg codeine pills ... and it worked like charm.

Only bad side is confused looks i got in apothecary when i said "Yes, whole box please" (box equal 50 tabs :P)

but i am here now with good 5 grams of codeine and my heroin wd is going great

Re: caffeine overdose?

Caffeine overdoses aren't really nice IMHO. Being nervous, cold sweat etc...don't like it.

Thanks, SWIM is gonna try that, since SWiM has never tried codeine without having to take high doses of caffeine with it. He wonders whether those charcoals will be expensive and how much he would have to use each time he extracted? (He usually extracts around 320 mg codeine with 600mg of caffeine)

You buy it in aquarium shop or pet shop, and it's like 2$ so no, definitely not expensive.

I use enough to cover my filter completely
