Combinations - Benzodiazepines and Cocaine

hey have any of you tried taking xanax and coke before? do you know if its dangerous? is it fun? I have been gettin kinda anxious on coke lately so I thought maybe xanax would take the edge off a little?

I takebenzos after using coke. It does take the edge off and help ease the comedown. I personally prefer valium because I don't get as sleepy but xanax works too. I wouldn't start with a whole bar though, just take a little, you can always have more if you think you need it.

coke gives me a very anxious feeling so i most always team up the bars
and rails to make it a fun carefree night. just dont overdo the combo
never mixing to many uppers and downers a good idea

SWIM has taken about 10mg of xanax and done about an 8 ball of coke and is fine, but i hear it can make your heart stop. Xanax does take the edge off though, just be careful.

My buddies and I used to call Xanax "baby blues". We would take one or two of them to come down from coke all the time. They would knock us right out and we would sleep for hours. I used to never do coke without them. I hate those sleepless mornings watching the hours go by!

several weeks ago i split an 8ball with a couple friends. when i started to come down i took 1mg of xanax and 5mg valium....this chilled me out a bit but i wanted to pass out so i took a vicodin and a 10mg codeine.....


1 hour later i was in an ambulance on the way to the emergency room. Apparently i was having muscle spasms, puking, and my pulse was in the 180's...


perhaps it wasthe benzo's i took, perhaps the opiates, maybe i just did more blow than i should've, or maybe it was a combo of all three. in any case just be careful. start out with low doses fo sho.

Taking benzos and coke is relatively safe. I say relatively because is it really ever safe to do coke? Right, but taking a few xanax or valiums to comedown from a cola night is actually a pretty good combo. (very effective and decently safe)

i've would assume mixing a drug combination like that would increase
its negative even fatal effects. i have expereinced mixing downers with
uppers, had dodne soem painkillers and they subsided then took some
5-meo-dipt and i felt like my heart was going to stop , i didnt get
fucked up really jsut really short of breath, i believed i was
going to die and i ended up caling an abulence in fera of my
life. mixing a drug thats a depressant and a drug thats has
stimulating effects doesnt sound like a smart idea. i suggest try to
stay in the same class or type, mixing uppers and downers are known to
cause heart probelms, but also be careful mixing depressants with
depressantas and the same with stimulants cuz it can to result in a far
exceed desired efffect that could cause alot of problems. the best
advice know what u are taking for sure know how much to take with ur
own sensitivity to things and even your weight. always research as much
as u cna on effects and reports and to really be safe take a test low
dose sample to see how ur body reacts first.

I like to drink while doing coke or take bars while Im doing coke. Both of these will take the edge off of the coke and eaze the comedown. Also I like to take 4 mg xanax when I want to sleep. Puts me to bed like a baby.

I've mixed the two without any problems in the past. I usually took them when i started to come down to help me relax/sleep.


i know that benzo's are given regularly to people who are hospitalized for coke overdoses so the mixture cant be too harmful.


as for coke and oxy, i wouldnt know, but i got sick after mixing coke with vicodin and codeine.Edited by: dopenose77

Mixing downers with uppers is dangerous buisness. I would save the valium for the coke come down, but not take them at the same time.

swim used coke and valium together, and it is a very nice combo, takes off the edge of the coke, and the paranoia

that combo has a very high risk of death because the coke speeds up
your heart rate while the benzos slow it down. if the dose of either
one or both is too heavy or if you use them too soon after each other
you will have a heart attack and die.

im sure thats true, but swim uses every day any only used half or less then the norm benzo dosage. so im sure swim will be alright.

SWIM is unsure of safety, but he has mixed xanax and coke and it was a nice combo. Just dont over do either substance. Xanax on the comedown really helps and if you are on xanax then do coke it takes way the anxiety significantly.

SWIM really has no idea, but SWIM takes 1-2mg. It helps, sometimes SWIM'll take a seroquel if SWIN still don't feel tired enough. Keep in mind SWIM takes these substances medically so his dosages may be higher.

I wouldn't like to guess how much Xanax (Alprazolam) it is safe to take, but according to some British research:

Alprazolam was significantly more toxic than other benzodiazepines.

Mixing it with alcohol is dangerous. I am just guessing, but mixing opiates with cociane is very dangerous, so mixing benzos with coke might also be hazardous, as both could induce respiratory failure.
