MDMA freebase

Hi everyone,

From what I can see, most ecstasy these days is found as the hydrochloride salt in powder form or pills. This does make sense; I daresay oral administration of a foul tasting, caustic oil would not make for a pleasant experience, and pills would certainly be less conspicuous.

That said, is there any reason why one couldn't just swallow MDMA freebase? Would the effects be any different? Has SWIY ever taken MDMA in this form?

But it appears they're referring to the idea of smoking the freebase. I don't know if you could eat the freebase.

Yeah, I guess it's not really a popular method of administration. I have heard the term "liquid ecstasy" used in the club scene, but in reference to GHB, not MDMA.

swiM heard a reference to liquid ecstasy in a movie he watched one time, some movie on the iraq war and oil or w/e. swiM assumes he meant actual MDMA Freebase, as the man was swiM believes the president of whatever country it was based in.

It didn't really get much more into it than that.

The bioavailability is very high as the salt so I'm wondering why the conversion would be necessary. If taste is really an issue gelcapping can always be an option.

Liquid E would probally be referring to GHB, which is a pretty common name for it on the club circuit I hear.
SWIM tells me this is a dangerous misrepresentation of GHB, as the effects are nothing like MDMA.

Freebase MDMA is a highly caustic oil. It is not sold on the market for use. Let's guess why...ah yes, it is a caustic oil! ALL MDMA sold on the market for use is in the salt form, period.

"Liquid ecstasy," incredibly ignorant term that it is, refers to GBL or solutions of GHB salts.
