Dose - Dosages in *ihkal

Does anybody know Shulgin's weight/height. Not trying to stalk the man, but since Pihkal and Tihkal are the bible when it comes to research chemicals it would be nice to know what standard we're using when we read doses from it. If Sasha's a large man the doses might be a little on the high side for the average person, it he's small vice versa. Also would his age possibly effect dose? I would think that for most RCs an older user would respond to a lower dose.

If I recall correctly, the qualitative comments in PIHKAL and TIHKAL are not from Shulgin alone, but were collected also from his wife and a close circle of friends. It would be reasonable to assume an average weight of roughly 70 kg.

It is also worth noting that on many occasions, Shulgin noted that he had learned a profound respect for his sensitivity to dosing. Many of his personal notes imply perswonal reactions to much lower doses than many, which is one of the reasons he included so many reports from his fellow explorers.

i remeber one qoute from thikal that said that just reaching the active thereshold doese is the best way to understsnd the standard does, Slow as you go with any unknow substance
