blurred vision from meth

Is it possible to have a side effect of blurred vision from meth?

It is only for when looking at something close.

before i even started using i had insomnia and apnia (sp)


my Dr. told me that the human body if awake longer than 3 day will begin to hallucinate.


imjustintomy 4th day i think (i get lost) and the shadow creatures are coming out and its kinda foggy in here!


last time around day 6 spiders like things were crawling on my trailor windows at night!

I never really get hallucinations when i go w/out sleep. But my eyes get REALLY sensitve to light. I hate bright lights always. I think thats from having such dialated pupils. Thats probly why things look blurry too.

When I doit, I start to hullicinate like a bitch. In the dark, the shadows trip me out like a bitch, then i'll close my eyes and start rambling about the wierdest shit and I can't control what I'm saying it's like I'm half asleep, sleep talking, and my friends tend to get very upset. Anyway, everytime I come down it fucks up my eye vision really bad, it's like i'm dizzy but nothing is spinning or anything, it's really hard to explain but alot of my friends have the exact same thing so... I don't trip about about it. It's normal, I read why but it's to long to write and I'm coming down right now...

im starting on my 5th day at the moment and my house is leaking smoke everywere. if i close my eyes it feels like they are melting like a styrophome cup with gosoline in it.


and i feel like i have bugs bighting and crawling all over my beard and my back! they keep biting me. but i cant see them!


is this normal?

wow thatsounds pretty intense to me, but don't freak out. it's not at all unheard of. one of the signs associated with heavy meth use is sores/scabs on their skin from scrathing at imaginary bugs. it can be normal for regular users/people on binges to feel like there are bugs crawling on them. just remember there's nothing actually on you.

This effect can become much more intense dependant on quality and quantity of the meth. Using meth intravenously results in an almost instant vision twist. Let's just say at that point, you don't have to ask if it's the drug, you know it's the drug. Snorting and smoking do this to me to a lesser extent, and it takes time to happen. Colors, like my white walls, look yellow while under the influence. Yep, you're not feeling anything unusal. Here's a few more:
1.)Paranoia- Deeply fearing what is not true.
2.)Auditory hallucinations- Hearing what is not there.
3.)Visual Hallucinations- Seeing what does not exist.
4.)Temper- Increases to point of losing control or loses control.
5.)Sexuality- Porn overindulgence or taboo fantasies- sex on meth is great, but the first two things can cause much guilt, and become an addcition.

If you aren't sure about your eyes, see an eye doctor. Please don't substitute the advice of a doper for the knowledge of a doctor. Good Luck!!!!

Oh- one final brainstorm:
Lack of sleep, not closing your eyes, blinking less/more than normally are seperate from and in addition to the chemicals in the drug that alter visual perception, colors, vision, depth.
It's funny this was brought up because today especially my eyes felt like they were dancing up and down and side to side in their sockets for hours after using. I guess some people would not enjoy this, all it means is the shit is good.

P.S. I don't know if it can harm vision or cause blindness for sure, I'll try to find out more info. next time I'm here.

yeah i never really get dialated pupils but i think that can have a lot
to do with method of ingestion to. over the years my body has come to
ignoe it but when i first started going on day to day runs on meth i
would see amazingly intense visuals dont get mme wrong they werent
exciting but more frightrning. a good friend described "smoke" that
appeared in air as ozone, researched topic on net aand produced a smoke
like image and quit in belief it was a sign from God! I have horrible
auiditory hallucinations that are real within my reality and get very
dark and twisted Man ohh Man what a great drug(tapper off into deep thought )

Perfectly normal, my geeked-up friend. I take it you are taking what they call "ice"? Back in the late 60's and 70's, when I was young, we used to buy dextroamphetamine, dexedrine, benzedrine, methadrine, and all manner of pharmaceutical grade methamphetamine hydrocloride (desoxyn), the street equivalent is now called "crystal", and methamphetamine sulfate, which is called "crank". Those tablets and capsules we used to buy for about 50 cents each were far more potent and much safer. Cheaper too. It's a shame that the FDA banned all that good stuff and drove everyone to ice. The FDA has killed a lot of speedfreeks. Murdering bastards will get what's coming to them in the afterlife. I hope I get to see it...

Swim has consumed a lot of Methamphetamine and or Amphetamine. and still get the dry eye after a two or three day run. Swim hates it, it feels like you have sand paper lining your whole socket and eye lid.Swim usually Starts to see and hear things after a week into a run Swim use to go for 13 or 14 days non stop, Swim will still run for 3 maybe 5 max. Gotta go peace out

SWIM has had blurry vision after being up for a few days.
SWIM assumes it was from sleep deprivation though, because he would also see little black dots dashing across the walls.

Also, one time when SWIM used to smoke meth but he took a few weeks off and his tolerance was down, he bought some pretty good shit and took like 4 hits in a row out of a pipe. He got the most intense rush he's ever had and everything went really blurry and he had what could almost be described as hallucinations, the things around his room looked like they were growing and shrinking. He put the pipe down and ran to the bathroom to splash water on his face.
But yeah... SWIMs vision was definitely blurry
