UN Blame celebrities for their own failures
In a desperate attempt to find anything new to blame for the UN's failure of the promised 10 year plan for a drug free world, we now hear more of the get tough on drugs message from the people that not only should, but do know better (so many reports telling them o the futility of the current approach) but chose to ignore it. It looks like we (in Europe) should be paving the way for MP Paul Flynn's plan to get us out of the UN obligations with a Europe-wide new legislation which will be rationally based - more later.

Re: UN Blame celebrities for their own failures
I saw this today on the news, what a load of rubbish it is. Even the person the BBC had in from a drug charity said that very very few people will use drugs just because a "celebrity" is doing it. Looks like just another case of the blame game while catching a headline or two at the same time.
I doubt we will ever see the current approach change in the foreseeable future. |
