how many cacti should SWIM buy?

SWIM is thinking of purchasing a few peyote cacti. The vendor says they're from 2 to 5 years old and 2 to 3 cm wide. How many should swim buy to get at least one decent trip? SWIM understands that the potency will vary from one cacti to another, but all he's looking for is a ball park figure. Thanks.
