Side effects - itchie from codeine or no?

this guy i know cold water extracts codeine from otc pills. He says when he drinks finished solution from 50 tabs (approx.400mg codeine) he feels the effect of the drug but no itchie's at all but he says if he eats 6 or 7 tylenol 4's (60mg codeine each) he ithes like crazy. not a comfortable opiate itch but very intense. so the question is why no itch from codeine extracted from otc pills?

Codeine itches more than any opiate SWIM has tried, including buprenorphine, morphine and heroin. However codeine in the only he's done orally, others were always either snorted or sublingual.

Maybe the absorption speed has to do a lot with it. When SWIY drank the solution made absorption faster and more efficient. Just a random theory.

Takeing 6-7 T4's give swiy GI System the full available amount of Codeine available in the T4's(60mg per), where as even the best, triple filtered, extra careful, extra slow, CWE will extract(yeild) around 80-90% from the crushed since a small amount is left in the filter paper and left in the containers and such. The average, single filter CWE will only yeild about 60-70%.
