The best that is available is propably Erowid.org. Legality varies from country to country and the list will never be complete as new ones are coming out of labs here and there.

Pihkal and Tihkal are far from compleete, but they are very good lists.
And to find the legal ones, you better visit you government pages and try to find the list of illegal rc's in your country... and exclude them from the lists (like Tihkal) you were able to obtain. If your country has some kind of analog act.. then it is hard to say what is legal and not. Erowid has some data about legailty in different countries, but they are sometimes quite old. Don't rely on erowid for legailty.. but rely on it to find new fancy RC.. few of them don't have much entries, but with a little work, you might find some posts. |

The list will never be complete as new ones are being found all the time. Some 'families' to think of: piperazines, isoquinolines, ketones, cannabinoids, opiods, etc. I'm probably forgetting a lot. Of each of these families of compounds you can make a list like the ones of pihkal and tihkal.

Once you start making lists like this, you're only a couple of steps away from structure-activity realationship (SAR) studies, and with those, the final number of compounds is limited only by the knowledge and imagination of the person compiling the lists (so it can tun to thousands, given enough time). Shulgin's works are a good basis to start from. |
