how long do pills last

I just stumbled across an old script that I had prescribed for me back in march of 94. The label says hydromorphone 4MG. The pills in the bottle are crumbly, there is alot of powder in the bottom. All of the substance is still pure white in color. Obviously these have been sitting for awhile. My question is are these safe to do? Are they any good or should I throw them away now so im not tempted to expriment?

There is nothing Un-safe about taking "old" pills. They just lose there potency after time. You can still take them, but you might have to take mroe to get any effect.

They're the same sa the day you bought them as long as they haven't been altered in some other form, like by water.



They claim that scripts expire only so people don't do what you want to do. Use it for something other then it was writen for.

Thanks, that what I suspected.. wasnt sure if the binders in the pill would have any sort of chemical reaction over time. So the next thing is that I am wondering if I want to try to snort one of these, being that they are 4mg pills, and I have no opiates in my system now, how much should I try to snort to catch a good buzz? I weigh approximately 175 lbs and i am a male

Hydromorphone is the chemical name for Dilaudid, which is two to eight times stronger than morphine.



Start out with one or two, wait twenty to forty minutes and then do more if you need to. 4mg is enough for most</span>
people, even with those who have a rather high tolerance. Be careful
not to overdose on these because they are opiates and ODing on those
can make you go into a coma along with other less severe but equally
unpleasant things.



Swim had to wait a while for these to take effect when she did them,
but they were very enjoyable. Keep in mind that they may take a while
to take effect.

Whoa.. now I know why I tucked those away.. So 4mg ingested or snorted? maybe smoked? not interested in booting it (although I understand it is heaven) I have 0 experience with opiates, other than an occasional tylenol 3 but I would like to get high off these at least once or twice. Just what should I do with these things? This is going to be somewhat of a personal "event" for me so I wnat it to be as good as possible.

Snort one, wait an hour or so, and then try the other
one. That way you won't OD but you might need two if they've lost

well I ended up doing 1 1/2 since I know that I have a high tolerance. I know see how this and other powerful opiates can become addicting - from the comedown thatI expereinced. I HATES the high, I hated the nodding and eyelid weight, basically hated the whole expereince. After coming down, my face was itchy, and I basically felt very uncomfortable. Im gonna take the rest of these, and hunt down some hard up bum, and give them to him/her for free. at least I can maybe help someone out. Not worth the time/risk for me to sell them, so away they go. Thanks for the help y'all gave me in this "experience" I had enough of this to know its not for me. its proabably a good thing I didnt like it. Back to my old vices! Its funny, the only drug that I cant put down is cigarettes.
