Culture - Coolest looking blotter?

Swim made a post about cool looking e pills so he thought he would take the next logical step.What is the coolest looking blotter swiy has ever gotten?

The flamingo saw an Alice in Wonderland sheet in it's entirety once (a sort of "through the looking glass" affair, although sadly she didn't get a picture). The actual blotters, once detached weren't too impressive though!

She thinks blotter art is fascinating. There are those designs that cover the entire sheet, and can only be appreciated as a whole, and those that repeat, so that a single image fits onto a blotter. And there are so many iconinc images.

Please bear in mind that this thread should concentrate on the artwork. It is not about blotter id/strength/speculation/RC passed off as LSD

Let's focus on aesthetics

swim once saw an Alice in Wonderland sheet that had the cheshire cat on one side, and only its teeth and smile on the other side. Thought it isnt quite what lewis carroll meant through his metaphor of a grin, it is a pleasing visual treat nonetheless. this was the only sheet swim ever got to examine closely after eating a few corner pieces, and he likened it to the satisfying warmth of eating mushrooms swiy grew yourself, or smoking some homegrown herb, but with alot more colors. The last sheet he saw was entirely blank. Effective and of reasonable quality, but without any design or color. swim said It was kind of offsetting to be honest, like buying an mp3 over the internet when you could have the big cardboard vinyl sleeve in all its artistic glory, same product, less flare.

SWIM has seen various different blotter patterns, lately seeing KISS blotter. An interesting design he must say, SWIM really enjoys the variety/interesting designs that come about. Although the really means nothing when it comes to strength/potency of acid SWIM enjoys that the "manufacturers of acid" come up with interesting designs/patters for their blotters.

The sheets SWIM has recently seen has been one of Alex GRey's artworks. It was nice when SWIM was able to purchase the whole sheet after only purchasing snippets of it so that SWIM could see the whole effect.

Kind of a silly reason to try and get a whole sheet, but fun nonetheless ^_^

coolest SWIM has seen is some 'Aztecs', the whole sheet was amazing, a big pyramid with an eyeball above it, the individual hits weren't interesting tho..

last tabs SWIM saw had 'where's Wally' on them (I thinks it's Waldo in America), was pretty cool.
In SWIM's limited experience with trips he was noticed that the art tends to either be very psychedelic (eyeballs, fractals, rainbows) or just has cartoon characters on it (Bart Simpsons, Dumbos), and then sometimes they are more like E's and just have a symbol like a dove or a smiley.

The Aztec sounds really cool!Swim wishes he could see a picture of this or better yet the real thing.Its fitting that something that can give a person such a profound experience is also a work of art.

swim had some really cool blotter years ago. the sheets were like dark blue space with shooting stars and plantets and shit, hella cool looking and great sid too!!! Also the powder puff girls were cool too.

SWIM saw nearly a whole sheet of them, had a brain in the middle, first time SWIM did cid, showed him what all the fuss was about

btw SWIM juts got his mitts on a 10 strip of the 'wheres wally' tabs, the whole sheet is a scene from a 'wheres wally' book!!
Didn't get wally unfortunately but he thinks these are the coolest blotters he has ever seen!

SWIM came across exactly the same blotters in Ireland around Halloween! One thing that was very cool was that everyone recognised it was from Where's Wally straight away, even though it was a small (10 hits) section of blotter.

Anyway I came here because I just found a pretty cool piece of blotter art, featuring the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. I tried uploading it to the photo gallery but the forum gave me error messages (something about memory being exhausted).

For crying out loud people. It's really not difficult.

Save the image. Go to "Go advanced". Click on the little paper clip. "Browse" for the image and click "Upload". Then click "Save". Voila: Your post has a thumbnail

(There's probably a way to link it all from the image archive, but I can't remember at present)

SWIM got some of these a while back. Couldn't get a picture himself, but managed to stumble upon a fragment of the sheet. Very absorbant, almost felt-like; ~200ug per hit (at least). So clean and visual: the pic says it all!
