oxycodone vs hydrocodone

HIDROCODONE- ACETAMINOPHEN 7,5/500mg

as swim understands the 2nd number is the filler agent (paracetamol)
which one is a better value for money. swim has never tried any opioid ever.

snorting is out of the question i guess due to the filler?
so either parachuting or just swallowing the pill?

Oxycodone is about 1.5x the potency of hydrocodone by dose, and most SWIMs would choose it if given the choice between the two.

is the oxycodone comming in something like percecot? im not sure but percocets pretty weak but 10mg of oxycodone is the lowest mg for oxyconton so. if you have never done one ever? be with someone you trust when you do them espeshily if you do the oxycodone. First time i did one i left my shit somewhere but i would go with the oxycodone. its defenitly the strongest and most worth while.

Oxycodone is stronger even though it contains more APAP
10mg of Oxycodone can be comparative to about 20mg of morphine whereas 7.5mg of hydrocodone is only comparable to about 15mg of Morphine.

There are a fair number of opiate comparison charts out there, and "opioid equivalence charts" if one chooses to use good ole google and find out. A fair number of them, although from medical sources, are conflicting but all follow the same basic trend.

1. Yes, the second number is a filler.
2. Correct, as a general rule you do not want to snort something that has a filler in it.
3. Oxycodone is stronger (per milligram) than hydrocodone, so 10mg of oxycodone is significantly stronger than 7.5mg of hydrocodone. The oxycodone is better value for the money, but then again if you have never touched an opiate before you might want to go with the weaker one first just to see if you like it. But most people would go for the oxy

While Oxy is more potent than Hydro, many people prefer Hydro to Oxy (like SWIM). Hydro is more stoning, while Oxy is somewhat stimulating. Potency shouldn't really be a big issue for a first-timer, as a high-powered opiate could cause ugly side effects like nausea, dizziness, and vomiting. Some people hate opiates and get nothing but bad effects, while others get only neutral effects. It's actually a pretty small percentage of people that finds them good for recreational purposes, so don't set SWIY's expectations too high, and don't set the dosage too high, either.

SWIM CWE'd the 15 5mg vicodin because he knew popping that much apap would hurt him over a long term. Swim feels like he did everything properly and was really looking forward to finally getting a buzz off hydro(in pill form, only oxy works for him effectively) and SWIM was sadly disappointed when nothing remotely good happened to him after taking all that at one time. No buzz, no high, nothing, not even his knee pain went away, which swim contributes to the lack of tylenol.

SWIM thinks he saw somewhere that people can be "immune" to hydro or oxy, is this true because it certainly seems the case.

Could be. But the first time SWIM tried hydro...the first 3-4 times, actually...she felt nothing at all, so this may be the case with SWIY. Perhaps SWIY should try taking 1-3 pills in their whole form to test the effects instead of attempting a CWE with a bunch of pills. 1 or 2 pills should have SOME effect if you're gonna feel anything at all. For people with healthy liver function, the maximum limit of acetominophen per day is 4000 mg., though SWIM wouldn't go that high. It's worth a shot to try the whole pill taken orally on a semi-empty stomach before throwing in the towel.

And don't forget, many common household products can be used to potentiate opiates--quinine, anti-histamines, Tagamet and other antacids, benzodiazepines, marijuana, grapefruit juice...

SWIM always takes his pills with GFJ and tums/tagament. Vicodin never has an effect on him, been trying for months.
