Experiences - Candy-Flip comedown + Requiem for a Dream

about 2 weeks ago SWIM was at a friend's apartment on 4 hits of liquid lsd. SWIM's friends were on e and one of SWIM's friends suggested they go get some more x. SWIM's friend bought a tab of x for SWIM and he popped it. once they got back to the apartment, SWIM dropped 2 more hits of acid. all in all SWIM had a great experience but the next morning when SWIM went home and was coming down, SWIM watched Requiem for a Dream. not a good idea. it made SWIM feel so guilty for using drugs, like SWIM was some kind of fucked up drug addict or something and SWIM just wanted to die. then the whole ass-to-ass scene with the dildo, SWIM couldnt take it. but swim couldnt look away, it was one of those "what the fuck" situations. the music made it even more intense for swim. so, final analyisis, Requiem for a Dream is a great movie, except for comedowns.

Never saw it, heard it was great. Coming down for bunny consists of light music and a warm bath

this is one movie swim cannot watch unless he is blitzed on pills or dope. watching it sober just makes swim upset and increases the urge to go get some opiates. but if swim is already blown out this movie is quite enjoyable.

on the point of the thread though, swim would have to agree that watching this while coming down off any hallucinogen would be something he'd want to avoid.

excellent film regardless.
