Potentiating Chamomille
Swim has discovered that chamomille does actually have good potential as a mild, natural sedative.Swim wants to know if there is anyway to potentate this.Swim has drank it as a tea and smoked it,is there any other way.Does anyone else have some positive experience with chamomille?

Re: Question about chamomille
Chamomille is great but only offers so much before it will make one sick. Best way to potentate it is to combine with Valerian, Catmint, Kava or Mulungu.

Re: Question about chamomille
Vampire used to make strong brews with valerian root and chamomile. Didn't taste too bad (if sweetened), and was quite effective as a relaxant. Not euphoric of course, but it did the job very well.
Vampire agrees that too much chamomile tea is nauseating. Drinking little by little, cup after cup, throughout the evening, prevents this. |

Re: Question about chamomille
What are your vampire's thoughts on making said tea along with a few marijuana joints?
SWIM thinks this sounds like something he would love to try and also something that would go along with weed very nicely.

Re: Question about chamomille
Said vampire hasn't ever combined this brew with cannabis, but imagines that large amounts of the latter will likely outweigh the tea. I can't hurt to try, though.

Re: Question about chamomille
Chamomile has a nice feel when used with xanax(alprazolam),the two almost seem made for one another. To get the best value out of chamomile tea swim has found it has to be strong.Five bags atleast.

Re: Question about chamomille
Or try Chamomile with Kratom for a delicious, legal buzz. SWIM finds the combination very relaxing and notices a definite synergy in the substances' sedative effects.

Re: Question about chamomille
That is a pretty good idea, kratom and chamomile tea. What about kratom with kava kava?Swim isn't really experienced with kava but it sounds like the two would work well together.

Re: Question about chamomille
SWIM often brews kava and kratom together into tea and the combination is quite nice. The relaxing property of the kava masks the slight stimulant property of kratom and has SWIM melting into the coach for hours, talking gleefully to his girlfriend as they watch some movie that I'm sure he coulnd't have sat through without his brew. For SWIM, this combo--if done right--comes about as close to opiates/oids as one will ever get without actually robbing a pharmacy or scoring some smack.

Re: Potentiating Chamomille
My deceased uncle would agree...
![]() But in regards to this thread, swim believes Chamomile + Valerian root + Kava would prove to be quite intriguing may even give your monkey a few hours of sleep - which is why adding a stimulating botanical would suit this mix well - for example ketum or e. sinica - but that' only if you plan to keep the eyes open. And whenever combining an array of botanicals/substances always experiment with low/conservative doses till you find your ideal dosages and thereafter can dose accordingly. .peace. |

Re: Potentiating Chamomille
How does this relate to potentiating chamomile?

Re: Potentiating Chamomille
kava-kava and chamomile both act upon GABA receptors. Though in different ways. So this makes it likely that kratom may have a good synergy with chamomile.
Please expand on the combination of Chamomille with mulungu. What are SWIY's experiences with this? |

Re: Potentiating Chamomille
Quote:
But so far it seems a brew of approx 10-15grams (without Kava) Mulungu is about right (to relax rather than sleep), after this the Chamomile seems exceptionally soothing. This combo totally eliminates the paranoia from smoking weed and former insomniac swim is having the best sleeps he has had in years. He prefers the Kava / Chamomile combo though for euphoria, but the Mulungu is easier to prepare and consume, and swims believes its better to use / abuse a wide variety of substances as opposed to using too much of the one thing. I will post more on Mulungu as swim reports his further experiments. |
