UK Amphetemine cause hair loss?

I have a very close female friend who takes amp every saturday night mainly to have a good time,its quite strong base pink in colour,but she came to me saying her hair had started falling out.Now she had a baby 5-6 months ago,i told her its nothing to do with with phet but all to do with her hormones and its quite common for women to loss their hair after a baby but she is not convinced. so am i right or am i barking up the wrong tree.I dont know anyone one that has lost their hair through amphetemines and i work with ex-drug addicts every day.

I personally know two women who both lost some hair after having kids (and have attributed it to this) so you're definitely not barking up the wrong tree. Mind you, I imagine that if less food and sleep are had due to amphet use that the situation the hormones are creating likely wouldn't be helped. Hairloss is most definitely not a documented side effect of amphetamines themselves however and most definitely is a documented side effect of testosterone depending on gene expression so that's the answer I'd give
