"Chronic tricyclic administration was associated with subjective increases in physical, hallucinatory and psychological responses to LSD. Subjects taking Lithium also reported increased effects. Subjects chronically taking an MAOI reported subjective decreases in the effects of LSD"

Mescaline is a phenylethylamine, not a tryptamine. Yet, mescaline does target serotonin receptors like a tryptamine.

HOwever, SWIM would advise caution. SWIM tripped shrooms with a buddy, SWIM at the time not knowing his buddy was on anti-depressants. SWIMs buddy was getting really emo at times and was lighting rolling papers on fire for the hell of it. From that experience, SWIM feels he should warn SWIY about mixing antidepresants with psychedelics.
