Research Chemicals (Methylone and Mephedrone) and amnesia
Swim has recently found mephedrone, and to a lesser extent, methylone give him small bouts of amnesia. He finds this quite disturbing as he feels like he was 'out of control' during these periods and it also has echoes of college binge drinking for him.
He wonders is this similar to the reason we find it difficult to remember dreams unless we 'rehearsed' the memory while waking up - is the mental state dissimilar enough to our normal waking state that the brain has trouble processing/recording the experiences?
On the, decidedly unpoetic, other hand - is it a sign of cumulative neurotoxicity and should swim stop? Or is swim becoming bored with the formulaic nature of his recent recreational drug experiences (ie any of the stimulants etc...swim doesn't really regard hallucinogens as recreational) and as such stopped paying attention? (I know only he can answer the last question but maybe you all have some similar experience).
