diacetylmorphine (heroin) is swims favorite opioid. but that is because swim is an IV user and so the rush is important. a lot of opioids are 1. not good to shoot being they are usually pills and 2. most don't give a pleasurable and intense rush. diacetylmorphine does thats for sure. it is incredible. well at least it was back when swim didn't do it way too often. once one starts to do it everyday the rush becomes less and less noticeable and the dosage has to be raised every so often due to tolerance. the only other opioid swim would bang would be hydromorphone (dilaudid). that one really does give a great rush. quite intense and euphoric. swim finds rushes of certain opioids more dysphoric than euphoric like oxycodone and morphine and others.

JaWill would you please convey the following question to swiy:

If the benefit of IV use is the rush and with daily use the rush becomes pretty weak, why then do you (or other IV users) just not switch the method of administration to either intranasal or oral. Certainly IV must be a bigger hastle plus other possible complications, and the main benefit isn't there anymore or pretty diminished, so why not just stop that method admin until tolerance decreases and the rush returns?

Good ol' oxycodone does it for swim. 20mg time release did him good for a nice long time. swim misses his oxy days, he didnt do them for very long and cant find decent real ones since he graduated high school.

DiacetylMorpine is a "yea yea im an addict" thing for SWIM and he does love it, but Oxycodone actually gives him the warm n fuzzies.

For SWIM it's a close tie between Fentanyl and Oxycodone. Oxycodone provides SWIM with that uplifting, anxiolytic, anti-depressant kind of euphoria that easily becomes a habitual thing. Fentanyl, on the other hand, is a very different animal, as it is used both as an opioid analgesic and a general anaesthetic. Its effect consists of a subtle euphoria, although not like that caused by oxycodone, as well as an overwhelming sedation that can leave you nodding off into unconsciousness if you don't know what you're doing. Fentanyl can be very dangerous to the first-time user.

Let Swim preface that he is not a needle user. Swim's favorite opiate is insufflated OxyContin (Oxycodone). His close second is well made Poppy Pod Tea.

Out of tramadol, oxycodone (OxyContin), morphine (pill and IV), and codiene (Tylenol 3).

Swim likes tramadol as nothing else gives him the pleasant relaxed euphoria of Tram except morphine but SWIM does not really remember it and only got 0.5mg IV at the hospital. Swim just tried two 5/325 generic Percocets (oxycodone) for the first time and he hopefully wont vomit like he does with OxyContin (made into IR via crushing).

well the time swim had morphine in the hospital was amazing, swim was on a fuzzy white cload in a dream like state and everything was good in the world, no pain.

ahh would like to be there again...

but unfortunatly all swim takes is DHC which is nice enough, does its job of taking pain away, and if swim takes one more then she should(which she somtimes does)
the she gets a nice warm fuzz.

although she does have really weird dreams at night and tends to wake up half asleep.
and then has mild audio hullucinations. weird.

One wonders if others have had this same effect?

AHHH morphine . . One agrees with SWIyou there. One misses that little red button in hospital. Because the button was on a 5 min timer, SWIM used to set the alarm on his mobile phone so that he could give himself a good smash ASAP. LOL.

One has never tried DHC, and wonders how and if it differs in a recreational feeling from other opiates.

SWIM tends not to remember his dreams when all Opiated. SWIM does know what one means with the wake up sleeping effect though.

SWIMs vote still goes for both Oxycodone and his faithful CFO. One in particular likes the CFO for a number of reasons.

1] it is easily home made.
2] SWIyou do not have to rely on doctors.
3] SWIyou can easily make good morphine from it.
4] If smoked dosage is easily controlled.
5] almost everything needed can be found at a grocery store.
6] if done right it can be as good as smoking H.
7] it can be used in a number of ways, eaten, smoked, teas, laudanums, etc.

8] there is something nostalgic and elegant about Opium, CFO refines that into an intense experience.

Absolutely. SWIM would probably forget these happen from time to time, if she didn't read this and think about it. For SWIM it's usually someone calling to her from another room, or rudely blurting out a question.

dhc is basically df118
it comes in about 8 diffrent strenths from 7mg to 120mg
swim takes 30mg tablets but she takes 3 a day which is 120mg but instead of taking it every 4 hours, she just takes 3 tablets at once, this gives a good buzz and takes away pain for a good long while.
30mg on its own isnt enough.
swim knows the amount of paracetamol isnt that great but well, this is just the way it is for swim.

the high from DHC is nice.
havnt tried anything stronger like vicoden so swim cant compare.
but swim knows DHC is nicer then codeine, in fact swim dosnt really like codeine.

CFO is cooked flake opium (also known as RAW or CRUDE morphine base) it is prepared opium for conversion into actual raw morphine. and was (and still is) also prepared opium for smoking traditionally in S.E.Asia and the middle east. One can find more about it in the opium section of the forum.

Hasn't this topic been covered a million times by now?

Back in swip's opiate days.... Oxycodone was always more euphoric then heroin.... however Hydrocodone (30-60mg via washed norco's) were always more comfortable.

swim prefers the dillys,ms contin,oxycontin,actiq patches,oxycodone immediate release 30's and 15's and can't deny the perc 10's very helpful all the times = ) all in a good daze work! oh my b are we only allowed one fav. if so I choose Hydromorph Contin which is A. mazing!

Swims fav overall would be oxycodone.
Hydromorphone best rush and strong but does not last long.
Hydrocodone = good buzz but Tylenol sux , might as well get some oxys

Heroin is one of the best for heavy,quick acting euphoria that has its own specific flavor.Methadone is good for long lasting,heavy euphoria though unfortunately recreational methadone use is almost always a recipe for disaster.Oxycontin is ofcourse a classic and almost anyone that knows anything about opiates knows how pleasureable just chewing one up can be.Swim also has a good deal of affection for MSContin.It does feel abit like oxycontin but one can tell it is morphine and not oxycodone.

Many years ago, swim was totally blown away with Heroin. Swim thought it was so much a drug as a physical and mental ride into ecstasy.
However, the company swim had to keep was so fine and swim finally left swims beloved heroin forever with much regret.
Now swim has rediscovered opioids in the form of DHC and swim is finding it a kind of heroin-lite. Still, swim finds it to be very beautiful if not as orgasmic. Just right for a guy of swims age!
Tolerance is a bugger though.
