ebalming question?

Hey i gota go after this so answer's would be nice my friend droped by like he always does about this time and said he would smoke a joint with me well we smoked a normal one and he said you gota try this and handed me a joint he says is diped in ebalming fluid but i thought that was what they put in dead bodys but anyways is it safe to smoke it cuz i dont wanna die or anything im not going to intill somebody that knows gives me the go ahead or not to and in that case ill smoke it anyway lol jj ill throw it away but whats it gonna do to me and should i do it? o yeah i dont know how to spell ebalming fluid ive never seen it spelled b4 i know what it is tho somewhat.

I've seen a few reports lately in a few newpapers about this, but must admit I dont know how true they are... It says that ppl have been using normal cigs soaked in ebalming fluid as a way to date rape women in clubs..


The papers state thatapparently a few women after smoking a cig offered to them in club by someone were then later taken advantage of while they were under the influence... The articalwasjust warning ppl to be carefull when offered a cig in a club..


I'm sure other ppl on this forum can give you more info about the affects of smoking this.

I read something similar to this before, and was very confused about
it. So I did some research, and good old Erowid has some
answers...



It appears that "embalming fluid" is a term commonly used for the drug
PCP. In some places, it is popular to dip a joint or cigarette in
liquid PCP in order to get additional effects



From erowid: "Embalming fluid, as used in a mortuary, is traditionally made from
formaldehyde. It does not contain PCP. Formaldehyde and PCP are
completely different chemicals, which are not related. Formaldehyde is
a known carcinogen linked to nasal and lung cancer, and with possible
links to brain cancer and leukemia and should not be smoked."



I'd be careful with the joint you have been given. It could
possibly contain PCP, or just some other unknown chemicals.
Formaldehyde has a strong smell, so I assume you would be able to tell
if it is present in the joint, but after it has dried, I guess it may
not be noticeable. Personally, I would only smoke plain
marijuana... I don't want it 'cut' or adulterated with anything else.

I have heard of people doing this they called it "wet" and said it was
a lot like pcp so maybe they were tricked but if it was me Id smoke it
thats just me though I have only done PCP 2 times and I rather liked
it. Not somthing I would want to do all the time but I liked it none

I have personally smoked it before with out knowing it. First off if you got given that you are lucky for the fact that a smaller pill bottle of embalming fluid is 350$ and you can soak about a half pound with it.


Next, its not exactly the most healthy thing to do and yes it is what dead bodys are injected with. If you smoke it be prepared to cough more then you ever have in your entire life. I smoke white widow on a daily basis grown bysomeone who posted in this thread in a hydro kit with a 250watt horticulture HPS light and needless to say to the unfamiliar smoker that shit is hard on the lungs.. ive gotten to where i cough a small amout with it and i coughed so much tears came to my eyes and coughed for at least 2 minutes.. so hard i was coughing up all kinds of colorfull shit but the high is so fucking intence i soaked a small amout of famalgahide (embalming fluid) into a dubsack of bud which is about 1/2 as much as is usually put in it and i was knocked out in about 4 minutes and for the 4 minutes i was awake i drank so damn much liquid is crazy. It makes your vision so blury and its like you feel as though you cant move... I dont suggest smoking it cause its used to dry out the desceased... what you think it does to your lungs? Anyhow, one time wont kill you and its probably worth the experience of trying it but im tellin you.. its gonna suck ass coughing that much.

I was under the impression that people never actually smoked embalming
fluid. I think it's just a different name for pcp. I don't think you'd
actually get high from formaldehyde. I could be wrong though.

yea. embalming fluid is a street name for pcp, your not actually
supposed to dip your weed or cigs in literal formaldahyde for dead
bodies. purple haze: if your friend bought that weed already "dipped in
embalming fluid" then it is pcp and will make you trip out, and its not
exactly a good high, or else maybe he dipped it himself in real
embalming fluid in which case you just shouldnt smoke it cuz its awful
for you. the boss: why the fuck are you smoking formaldahyde in your
pot. that shit will kill you. if your getting high off that shit its
just gotta be some kind of shitty ass spray paint brain cell killer
high or something. when people say "embalming fluid" they mean pcp, not
real formaldahyde. like when people say they are gonna smoke pot they
dont crush up some ceramics and smoke them.

Real embalming fluid can be Formaldehyde. While smoking it 'may'
get you high, formaldehyde is a POTENT carcinogen (will give you
cancer). Meh, I guess everything gives you cancer though
