Adrafinil doesn't work for me?

It's SWIM's first nootropic, and it doesn't seem to have any effect on him. He tried 300 mgs to absolutely no effect, then the next day he tried 600 mgs; nothing. Is there something else he can take to potentiate it? He also started Piracetam (4800 MGs over three doses/day) and Hydergina (3 Mgs over three doses/day).
