Ketamine cravings
My Swim has asked me to post on his behalf.
Swim has only tried ketamine twice. The first time was such a low dose it was a little pointless. The second time was just amazing, when Swim properly tripped and had CEV's everywhere and this was a real eye-opener for Swim. Ever since then he keeps thinking about ketamine. Everytime Swim sees DF it gives him a little craving and he wants to do ketamine again. He says he is just so interested in it and wants to experiment with it. He wants to have some in his possession, to look at and to examine. Since Swim has only used ketamine twice (once properly), surely this cannot be some form of addiction? Surely this is just enthusiasm and interest in a new-found eye-opener that Swim wants to explore. Did any other Swimmers feel like this when they first found ketamine? |

Re: Ketamine cravings
Yep SWIM will raise his hand that he also craves ketamine, he has tried it on 3 occasions and found each to be wonderful, the most wonderful being when mixed with some quite trippy E pills and nitrous oxide. It was amazing. SWIM does not think what SWIY is experiencing is addiction, just a deep strong desire.

Re: Ketamine cravings
Isn't addiction (at least the psychological addiction created by drugs such as Ketamine), by definition, nothing more than a "deep strong desire"?
Anyway, SWIM thinks that after one real dose of K you won't be feeling any genuine cravings, more an infatuation with a new drug experience that is, buy it's very nature, so unlike anything else out there. Try taking it once every couple of days for a few months then getting your phone with your dealer's number in it half-inched... ![]() EDIT: half-inched = pinched, geddit? Re: Ketamine cravings
SWIM feels the same and has never tried K. He got so interested in its effects reading trip reports. This is not good for SWIM cause when he longs for trying a new chemical so badly then the experience is a little disappointing to SWIM. Too many expectation can result in disappointing. It is not SWIyour case anyway.
Is SWIM addicted? Of course not, just very curious

Re: Ketamine cravings
My Swim says this puts his mind at ease. He was a little concerned he might have a problem. But alas, it is just curiosity. Swim wants to try so many things with it, the main one being using it as a club drug when he is out in a nightclub. Swim says thanks for the replies so far.

Re: Ketamine cravings
Swim used ketamine for the first time last night, woke up this morning and immediately felt the need for another line this morning :S
He tells me the craving is nowhere near as strong as a coke craving, but definately still there. |

Re: Ketamine cravings
Swim tells me he thought it was lovely stuff. He once heard it described as 'neither an upper or downer, but a sideways drug' Swim thinks it fits this description perfectly Swim says he had a very real feeling of sinking into his bed, when he shut his eyes, the darkness gradually got brighter and brighter as he sunk, then as he was almost at the imaginary end of the sinking, would suddenly be lifted back up to reality, then fade in and out of less profound waves of rolling and waves all over.. very nice! |

Re: Ketamine cravings
My Bill has always loved it. He says it’s nice to have a little stash and just to know it’s there for whenever you want it although in truth it doesn’t often stay there for long. He says he had a four day bender on it a little while back with unlimited amounts and even through all the nose-bleeds and not being able to form a coherent thoughts for days on end he still hasn’t lost his enthusiasm for it.
And don’t worry, My Bill knows exactly what SWIY mean mate, nothing strange there. My Bill would also say feel free to try it at the club scene but when he tried it he just sat there staring at the lights. Interesting but he doesn’t think the two mix very well |

Re: Ketamine cravings
Swims thinks one has to be very careful with Ket - it can most certainly be psychologically addictive. For swim it can be difficult to have a bag of K and not use it, the main deterrent for swim is that tolerence develops really fast with K and sometimes many days are needed between uses to be able to hit the K-hole properly again.
The K-hole has helped swim develop a greater understanding of his own reality and he holds Ketamine as one of his favorite drugs - but swim found the craving can get worse. Its best to use infrequently but that can be easier said than done. Dont get swim wrong , these craving are easily controlled with will-power but it will vary from person to person. |

Re: Ketamine cravings
SWIM has tried ketamine many times but has never really been to fond of it and even disliked it sometimes whenever he is offered some though he will always take some, a friend of SWIM who first took it with him over a year ago now has an addiction to it he's been doing it every day for the past 3 months, SWIM and his friend have both done various different drugs before and never had an addiction, but the ketamine got SWIM's friend.

Re: Ketamine cravings
Swim was relaxing in bed the other night, couldn't sleep, quite awake from a few pints in the pub, and fancied a little ket to relax him. He snorted a little, but his gf woke up and caught up. She told him it was dirty and wrong and horrible and Swim should ashamed of Swimself. Swim couldn't explain that it's not that bad. Anyswim been in that situation?

Re: Ketamine cravings
Swim is in this situation almost every day. The majority of his female friends are grounded firmly against drug use of any sort. These are of course the type of girls who will drink 3 bottles of wine alone before they leave for a night out, and smoke 'casually' on weekends. But horse tranquiliser and ecstacy are probably going to kill you the first time you try them.
I think that 99% of members on this forum have to deal with what swim likes to refer to as 'sheep'. Swim is happy however to say that he managed to convert his girlfriend.. throught an intense education programe (basically drilling facts over and over until she was sick of them and accepted the truth) ! Swim understands though! It is one of the most frustrating things to try and justify drug use to any closed minded individual. |
