Smoking - Smoking Cannabis With A Torch Lighter??

SWIM just recently bought a torch lighter for his bong. SWIM was fucking around with the lighter outside and did not see how strong it was till he did it in his car with less light. These things really do shoot some hot flames. SWIM smokes about .7 - 1 G when smoking a bowl. SWIM was shocked how fast the herb burned up even when held pretty far away without the flame hitting it and SWIM is wondering if the dank gets wasted or the THC gets burned to fast with a torch lighter. Cuz SWIM is shocked that he can smoke almost a gram in one hit so fast even with the flame not directly touching the herb. So are torch lighters really worth using or does SWIM actually get the same amount of THC and smoke and everything just in one hit? swed

i would think torch has a higher temperature then a lighter and THC burns off eventually, everything has a melting temperature so it aint really necessary

the only bad thing about weed in smokable form is the carcigen byproduct which occurs because of the burning

so i would say you better off going conventional lighter, matches, or best vaporizer style for the above reasoning

Swiy is most likely losing a large amount of cannabinoids to pyrolisis, making it possible for him to ingest such an excessive amount of cannabis in one hit. Since the temp needed is not higher than that provided by a regular butane lighter, swim reccomends avoiding the torch, simply for the sake of saving bud. Bottom line: Swiy is able to ingest more cannabis, not more cannabinoids.

Oh i skipped this. sorry i wish i could combined my post i feel lame posting 3 in like 2 minutes. haha sorry. but alright thanks for that answer thats exactly what i was looking for.

SWIM has been using the torch and just been holding it away pretty far and turned the flame down a lot. It has been working really good. If anyone knows if it waste dank though for sure it would help.

swim has found when she has had to resort to the torch lighters she has had to be very careful, theyll easily blow out half a cone and just incinerate the rest.. swim likes to stick with the normal BIC lighters =D

yeah SWIM has just been using regular bics. And If He does use the torch, he holds it away very far where the flame is not in contact with the dank.
