Setting - different situations - different trips?

I have been freely experimenting with pure DXM powder for a while now. I was wondering something.



Last night i swallowed 1.5 grams (1,500 mg) and had a very strange and
surreal trip. I tripped in my room. Has anyone found that they had
different experiences with other situations?

were you are when you take your drugs dxm or otherwise plays a verry big part in the type of trip you have. feeling are hightened so naturally, if your in a nice, comfortable setting in a good frame frame of mind you will enjoy your experiance. if your not enjoying yourself, or have something bugging you then these feeling will be amplified and you more than likley have a bad time.

Thats rule number one with tripping on any substance, Setting plays a big role in the experience. I agree with geordie 100%.

well the thing is, i was in a fine frame of mind before, and in a safe
place (my room). yet i still had a very strange experience. it may of
been the amount i tried, which is a pretty big amount considering DXM.

Well even in the right setting dxm will be "wierd" most dissociatives are. The higher the dosage the more likely to get one of those trips, personally I LOVE them. I however am unable to reach them anymore. I think my system is becoming immune to dxm lol.
