Is the only way that u can get DXM powder from cooking it? Im just wondering bc i have taken tussin many times and im just wanting to know if the powder isany better. So is iteven worth the trouble to get the powder?

yup the high is a LOT lighter, not as dark and gloomy, plus u can stmoch it a lot better (swim can) and its cheaper in most cases.


as well u can carry powder with you all the time


and if u need some just find a drink and boom.

well i read the that u have to like boil it in water or something...not really sure. Like there was directions to get it out of tussin. It justseemed like the only way i could get the pure powder form was from the tussin. How did u buy the pure DXM because i couldnt find any info on where to get pure DXM.

Welcome aboard, ZzHutchzZ! I believe it is available in powder form, and no, I can't tell you where from, I'm afraid. Partly because I don't know, and more importantly because the naming of Sources isn't allowed in the main forum I'm afraid, whether a substance is legal or not.

I know you didn't ask, and I'm not jumping on you, or to conclusions - I just wanted to make that clear in case you did ask, and also before people start posting links saying 'Get it here, man!'.

Sorry to appear paranoid and over-cautious, but believe me, it's kept me out of trouble for a long time !

I'm sure someone with a bit more experience with this will let you know whether it's worth looking for - I'd imagine the answer will be a resounding 'Yes!'!

u use ammonia and lighter fluid i never have done it, and never will, it just seems like such a hassle to spend 6 dollars on robotussin and like 4 on the materials just to get a good trip.


Just drinnk the robo or get cough gels if you cant handle the taste

yeah it didnt really seem like it would really be worth all the trouble so thats what i was just wondering. i guess ill just stick to the syrup

I've found DXM powder capsules on research chemical vendor sites, something like an average price of $30.00 for 60 500 mg pills. That's a hell of a lot cheaper than even buying off-brand cough syrup. I'm sure the Sources forum would have info on finding the powder, which I don't have access to yet either...and if you don't want to wait until you're a gold member, just looklook look in any way you can think of. Finding vendors with no prior frame of reference (such as someone telling you the sites :P) is hard as hell, but they are out there, and they can be found.

There's a not-too-complicated extraction for DXM, but if you're not up to the chemistry, it's not worth it to try. You can get some powder from online vendors; I've even seen it on E-bay. Not too expensive, especially if you buy in bulk. But yeah, if you don't want to mess with the powder, 'Tusssin's still your best bet.
