Is swims' ketamine laced?

Hi,

Swim recently got some ketamine from swims dealer. And swim was wondering if it might be laced and if it was, with what. Here is swims personal description of it.

The physical look of it is: Not long crystals, nor powder. It looks like salt size grains.

Taste: Does taste like ketamine when swim get the drips. Maybe a little bit off

Nasal reaction: When swim snorts this in any amount, swim gets crazy nasal discharge. None stop nasal fluid for 7mins. Swim has never gotten this before.

last but not least, what made me initially think it was laced: the trip

Trip: .25g makes swims eyes puffy like on pot. It also makes my vision weird compared to a good K trip. And my eyes are also sensitive to light. And at times swim feel depressed when swim do a bit higher amounts. Like swim would feel moody.

Swim is wondering if anyone is aware what it might be laced with.

SWIM has had ketamine like this before. As the popularity of the drug has soared in the last few years, it has become harder and harder to find good quality, pure ketamine HCL, and many people (particularly at raves/festivals) are now selling ketamine which is cut, either with an inert substance such as glucose powder (instantly noticeable due to the sweet, sugary note it lends to nasally ingested substances), or, worse, cheap amphetamine (which itself was probably cut up a few times before being mixed with the k).

Also, it's worth bearing in mind that the way the ketamine is cooked up (and, to a lesser extent, the brand of ketamine used and the solvent it was suspended in) has a huge bearing on the size/shape/texture of the resulting crystals/powder.

The answer then? Hard to tell, it dosent sound as is it's "laced" as such, but it maybe the case that SWIY's K is either cut, badly cooked up, or both

(although the fact that SWIY says his ket looks like salt crystals would tend to suggest it is mostly the good stuff)

Swim appreciates tangos response.
So should swim not suspect that it is cut? Because if it was cut with sugar/msg.etc. Then swim would just not trip as hard, but in swims case, swim feels totally different which indicates to swim that it's laced with another drug. Swim feels tired, a little emotional from this. Could it be cut with something else?

Did tango have the same experience as swim did? Swim gets a lot of nasal discharge, which seems awkward to swim. Any idea what might cause nasal discharge. And it's not only swim. Swims friends also tells swim that they feel the same.

Bear in mind, that ketamine is a very "multi tiered" drug, by that I mean that the dose/response curve is far from linear, and that different dosage levels can bring about very different kinds of experience. DXM users frequently speak of the different "plateaus" which can be reached, and I think to an extent it is appropriate to approach ketamine in this way aswell.

What SWIY is describing (a tired and emotional state) is a perfectly normal response to a lowish dose of K.

As far the nasal discharge, SWIM thinks that this is totally normal too. Ketamine is known for sometimes being quite hard on the nose.

In conclusion, it is hard to give a definite answer without being able to see (and, in an ideal world, sample) the K that SWIY has, but it sounds like he has just been unfortunate and got his hands on some less-than-top quality material.

by the sound of it, SWIY should stop taking it. It is not a good batch. Throw it away, and only buy from trusted sources.

last few Gs swim got had a grotty taste to it made him think about cuts and what not but who knows

its easy to say "buy from a trusted dealer" but not everyone can pick and choose who they want to buy from
also you maybe trust your dealer 100% but what about his dealer or the guy above him
granted this is less true for K as it often comes in as liqud form and is then cooked by the dealer himself but it still hold true some of the time

All I can say is that when my Bill cooked some in the microwave and scraped it up it it was almost like sand. The quicker it's cooked, usually the smaller the grains
