Oral use - propoxyphene (darvocet)

Say a person had been occationally taking hydrocodone and/or oxycodone. Would it be a smooth transition with similar effects if said person began taking propoxyphene instead?

Darvocet(Propoxyphene) is pretty much useless,aspirin is about as euphoric.The generic darvocets also seem to have this pink coating that is conducive to some very nasty stomach aches.Swim says avoid it.Oxycodone is the way to go.

SWIM warns that the euphoric dose and over dose are very close, within 1 pill for SWIM.

SWIM has achieved standard opiate highs using darvocet, but unlike many opiates, you MUST space out the pills. SWIM has had a terrible OD experience on just 4 pills at once, but he isn't very tolerant of opiates.

If SWIY can, ask for something different. Doc's are prescribing this much more often because of the low-abuse and non-reliance on CYP2D6 enzyme. SWIM just says vicodin has worked well for him in the past, and crosses his fingers as to what his doctor is writing on the script.
