why does mda make me throw up?

I got this email from my friendly llama...

I've taken mdma pressed pills about 50 times and never gotten sick. I just recently started taking pure mda and every time I take it I throw up. Right when it hits me I throw up. I heard this happens to other people sometimes. Why would that happen? Could it be that I'm on birth control? I think I may have taken it once before I was on birth control and did not get sick, but I'm not sure.

Occassionly swim throw's up too while taking pure mdma(iv). And so does swim's fiance. Even while popping pill's we sometime's throw up. Swim has put it down to what we have eaten that day and also how many bong's we smoke too while we are on the melt's (mdma). Most of the time when this does happen, it's ussually heading toward's the end of the night and swim has a belly full of cone's. LOL Swim has taken ALOT of speed too a few year's back and swim has noticed that only mdma make's her feel ill in the stomach. (except for a really good hit of speed, but that's a whole other thread LOL)

My suggestion would be to drink some milk during the night to line your stomach. That alway's help swim.

Could it be that I'm on birth control?

I really do DOUBT that hey. But if you want to look into it more, google it. But I really don't think mdma would have this effect on your llama while taking birth control. I hope this helped.

swim loves milk when he's rolling. specially strawberry milk...

on the subject of throwing up on pills; on of swims good friends and her best friend always seem to throw up, and they say they dont mind. they said to swim "it seems like we're not really rolling until we throw up. then it gets alot better"

another time swim and his best friend went candyflipping on new years and swims friend who had only had 2 tabs and one pill threw up, but he still rolled like crazy. funny thing is though that swim did not throw up.

swim was informed by his source that these pills contained DXM, mdma and mda. but with these things you never know how legit they are.

does this bring swiy a bit closer to the truth?

Is your llama talking about MDMA or MDA? It sounds like the former, but the thread title and your initial post both say "MDA."

depends on what is in it. If it was improperly made and maybe some nasty shit from the reaction was left, or maybe if it is cut with something that may even cause nausea, it can do so.

SwiM's seashell told him when he listened to the sea that sometimes (lol) he will get pretty nauseated from some of them, especially ones that aren't that great, but there are some that he doesn't even get any stomach problems. There have been some that the sea said to swiM that he could eat whatever, during the middle of the roll.

I long ago gave up trying to apply logic to the nausea sometimes experienced from psychedelics or the MDxx class of drugs. Suffice to say that there are lots of serotonin receptors in the stomach, all of these drugs can strongly influence the perception of bodily sensations, and that mindstate can play a strong role. Also, everyone can respond differently, both to the drug and with regard to their digestion. My buddy Eddie has been discovering that he has less digestive discomfort with psychedelics when he has taken a reasonable meal, with no troublesome delay in the onset. Quite the opposite, with some materials he finds the sensations of hunger an uncomfortable distraction.

I can't tell you if birth control would cause puking on MDA, but SWIM knows people who throw up because of a strong MDA dose (like 30 minutes later). SWIM loves it, he rarely feels any side effects with one dose. I hear that it's very hard to stomach two strong MDA pills, once you start getting visuals and nausea it just happens. MDA come-up is strong, and one should stick to drinking water and smoking some pot to avoid nausea.

part of reason swim stopped taking E's, for a long time taking afew wouldn't make him in slightest bit sick but after a year or 2 cant stop puking all night even if its hardly enough for him to feel, often bad enough swim couldnt even sip a tiny bit of water so wouldnt get very dehydrated in a hot club

SWIM has had the same experience with MDMA/MDA. He did a higher dose than he had normally done when he used these compounds (400 mg rather than starting with 150-200 mg). As soon as he was starting to come up, he felt locked to his chair, and felt something stirring in his stomach. He puked in the nearest garbage can, and while standing bent over it felt himself start to tilt and almost fell several times, in pure bliss. Essentially, from that point on SWIM has lived his life with much less stress, and feels that when he purged he removed something very deep (psychologically) which he had been holding on to for a very long time.

It was a somewhat embarrassing situation, vomiting in front of all his friends, but he knew they felt for him (many even said so <3) and he simply went back to sitting and rolling harder than he ever had in his life. Despite freaking out a few others who do not do drugs, he felt great about the experience, and has since then never vomited from any MDxx, however he has also stopped using them (after that night the magic was gone, there was no longer a reason to).

SWIM must note that he did not consume a pill, therefore no filler was involved. Simply molly (and/or perhaps MDA based on what he experienced).

SWIM always wonders if its the pill filler that makes the taker throw up. SWIMS friend usually throws up on pills but not on MDMA making SWIM conclude it must be the pill filler whatever that may be.

SWIM has never been ill on pills or MDMA, some takers have more sensitive bellys than others.

Swim had this happen to her in the exact same circumstance. swim is highly puzzled as she recently started the pill but research into this lead her to the conclusion to the fact that the contraceptive didnt mix with the X. puzzled indeed swim thought that the batch might be funny but all swims friends took the same batch and didnt throw up. swim has taken many before and this is the first time that an incident like this has happened. Friends of swim's suggested that to much mdma could be the cause.... could this be the case? or could swim have developed a sensitivity to mdma in the space between the time she last popped? (about a month)

Some of my friends throw up pretty much every time they take MDMA. Doubt it's how much they've taken because it usually happens within the first hour or so. But none of them seem to mind it; as has been mentioned before, vomiting apparently makes you rush so much. They have found that eating a good meal helps, and drinking fruit juice/squash rather than fizzy drinks (which seem to make vomiting more likely/a more regular occurrence through the night).

Unless you're really uncomfortable with throwing up or are throwing up a substantial amount or numbers of times, I wouldn't worry too much. As I say, my friends throw up almost every time but it doesn't seem to have done them any harm.

swim knows some people who judge pills on wether they make them puke or not!

swims advice is not to drop on a completely empty or full stomach. have a light meal about 2 hours before.

swim does not get the roll puke, but he does get the comeup shit. it is always the same consistancy and smell which is strange.
