Great song

I have been looking for a song I heard one of the first times I ever rolled. I am going to attempt a description and hopefully someone will be able to pinpoint it.

It had a rolling base beat and a man's voice sayhing things in a kind of echo. One of the things he said was, "Do you remember where you were the first time you heard house music?".....

THe guy talked and asked questions through the whole tune, but in the background.....

There you have it.....let me know.

THanks!

The Postal Service - Give Up is one of my favorite albums
while on rolling... also any Chamical Brothers, Prodigy, or Sublime...
and occasionlly some Bob Marley or 311.

Here are a couple artist that I listen to while I am rolling.

D-Devils, Darude, and I also have a lot of songs that I jus named techno. I have the titanic techno mix, mortal combat, zombie nation, almost anything techno. But if you want an awesome song while rolling get Eric Pryds - Call On Me

Its not rave music but when I roll I like Bone Thugs N Harmony. Just listen to the words when you are rolling and you will like it.

If theres any around I'll listen to some rave, but normally I listen to Porcupine Tree, very Pink Floyd influenced. I also listen to a lot of metal and classical music when i'm rolling.

i forget who mentioned it, somebody on here, but i found it really nice
with some good techno. www.shoutcast.com and just download some
trance streams. My fav song has to be the first techno song i
heard and the first song i heard on x, paul oakenfold - set me
free. I feel so girly when listning to my DJ sammy, but damn i
love that when rolling.

Anything hard trance...DJ Tiesto comes to mind (his club mixes, not his albums)

Also, Ferry Corsten

This has nothing to do with dancing, as any Trance/Hardcore song will do it but...

The Streets - Turn the page.

Listen to to lyrics, listen and stare in amazement.

anyone heard "here in my room" by incubus? i haven't heard it yet while rollin but everytime i listen to it i think damnn this would be awesome on x! next time i want to pop in the incubus cd cuz there's a few songs by them i bet would be pretty great.

only rolled about 5 times so not too experienced. i can't rememberEVERYTHING i listened to cuz i wasn't in charge of the stereo but i do remember jimi hendrix and i loved it. i didn't dislike techno (hell i didn't dislike ANYTHING!) but i was definetely feeling the mellow music a lot more.

oh yeah definetely remember listening to the pixies- "where is my mind" for the first time while rollin and since then it's been in my top ten faves! thanks GerhardV for reminding me i'm gonna play it right now!

I'm actually suprised no one has mentioned this. Any music from the Cd's by Aphex Twin will blow you away. The music can be so trippy even on some good pot....
