mold while evaporating tea?
swim followed "The Improved Guide for 'flake - cooked' opium" at his friend's house (there or nowhere) and ended up with five large pots full of dark and very effective opium tea. he decided that to end up with good quality smokable opium and satisfy his impatience, he would instruct his friend to keep one pot in the oven at 120 degrees fahrenheit and leave the other pots to evaporate slowly and coolly in two separate closets.
swim came back a few days later and checked on his opium. the two glass pots in one closet had a white film sitting on the bottom. one pot had a patch of white on the top of the liquid that resembled mold to my layman eye. it was sticky and thick and held together. neither of these pots had any smell to them other than a faint smell of opium tea. in the other closet, the two metal pots had white film resting on the bottom. there smells were the same as the glass pots.
there was a pot of opium tea in the oven which was off. swim's friend told swim he had been keeping somewhat of an eye on it. in the pot was a dry leafy patch about half the diameter of a (us) penny, and it STANK with a smell like that of vomit. =[
swim made smokable opium somewhat successfully this way in the past, with high temperatures and oven evaporation. swim would take his opium out of the oven and check on it frequently, and saw bits of white film forming as it evaporated. the pots in the closets have been sitting completely still for days. also, the oven is fairly filthy, used frequently and cleaned... probably never.
swim covered all the pots in seran wrap and needs advice on what to do next. should i throw out any of the opium in the closets? what is the white film?
thanks!
