valium help PLEASE! Extended drug test.

i took 3 10 mg tablets of generic dizapam on wednesday. i just found out i am having an extended drug test next wednesday (either urine or blood, i am not yet sure). and i have read that 10 mg of dizapam will metabolize in 7-10 days. but i took 3, so will it take three times as long to metabolize? and is there anyway i gould get it out of my system faster? please reply (my life almost depends on me passing this test)

Drug tests don't normally test for benzo's. They are prescribed to a lot of people, and for those with rx's they're legal. So I really doubt they will be testing you for valium. Even if they do, I think you'll be ok. Just try to flush out your system, drink a lot of water. Also look over in the drug testing section, theres some more tips there.

thanks. yeah normal tests don't, but i have a history of abusing prescription pills, and the doctor is giving the test, so if there is any in me, i'm screwed.

Unfortunately Valium stays around in your blood stream for quite a while.
"Diazepam is metabolized to an active metabolite. The half-life (time for
half of the drug to be gone) of diazepam is about 50 hours. The half-life
of the metabolite is 50 - 100 hours. That means it takes 4-5 half-lives to
be "essentially gone" (long time). Thats 250 hrs for the drug and 250
more for the metabolite.(which could be picked up if the benzodiazepines
(BZ) were being tested for. Many drug tests do not test for the BZ
(diazepam) and the sensitivity of the test varies depending on the type
used. The simple drug tests don't screen for BZ.".
This sounds like about three weeks! for it get out of your system. Sorry!
