I have done some opiates like Codiene, Morphine, Dilaudid, and Heroin. I haven't done anything in a month. Will my tolerance be all the way down where it was before I took anything?. I usually just go on binges.Edited by: Inkmanr6

in my experience 1-2 weeks is plenty to drop your tolerance, however, it will build back up more quickly each time around and each detox will be harder than the last. peace and love.

Be careful with IV administration if you are chasing a good nod
or buzz if you have been off for awhile. Opiates are strange--
tolerance goes down in a few weeks in regard to potency, but the "high"
still may not feel as good, especially if you ever were
habituated. It's very true that a person with a long-term habit
can be completely clean for decades, and within a week of using again
they are metabolizing the opiates just like when they were previously
habituated, dopesickness and all. It's like your cells remember
what to do with the junk, even 30 years later (at least Burroughs
believes so).

If you IV, only inject one-third of the shot after you register
a vein, then after 20-30 seconds the next 3rd, then after 20 more the
rest. This is good practice also when testing out a new batch of
heroin or morphine (unless the morphine is in a standard concentation
in solution), or scoring dope from a different city, or shooting a
pharmaceutical opiate that you have not IV'd before.
