amphetamine hydrochloride

SWIM's latest batch is so damn unpleasant to insufflate SWIM is eating it. Could this be amphetamine hcl? Swims source simply says its speed, he has no clue about what form it's in. It's a bit more pungent than usual, smells like the familiar smell tho, but alot more intense, almost unpleasantly so (still a perfectly white fine powder.) Would cutting with a little bicarbonate of soda help to prevent the acidic burning? (assuming it is amp. hcl)
SWIM is tempted to try to freebase it in his kitchen, Prolly end up making hydrogen cyanide by accident tho

Is propably just good amph altought strenght of burning is not equivalent to purity.Could also be a cutting agent that burns heavely.Amphetamine HCL it propebly won't be because that sucks up waaaaaay to much water from the air and would form paste instead of powder when taking up moistere from the air.Swim has never seen Amph HCl on the street or never had it+Hcl would burn no harder then sulphate

It might aswell be amphetamine freebase. That would explain the more intense smell, since the base has a lower bp than any salt. Also freebase acts alkaline and according to AFOAF is quite painfull to snort.
