the scariest thing just happened to swim

ok, so swim has been shooting up in the same vein for about 2 months now, everyday. (STUPID IDEA). anyways, earlier tonight he shot up a speedball, followed by some coke, followed by boy, etc. he got home at like 10oclock and decided to shoot some more coke. so... he put the needle in his arm, and pulled the plunger back.. but the blood didnt stream in like it normally does...it came in the rig in like...spurts..not all at once.. ... he wasnt too concerned because blood was still coming in, so he shot it all anyways. next thing he knew, he had missed about 90% of the shot, and his arm was all splotchy looking and itched like a BITCH and was kind of numb. he waited about 30minutes for all the symptoms to go away so he could shoot some more boy. after he could see the vein again (arm also got kinda puffy around the injection site --middle of arm vein--) , he shot some boy. same thing happened, blood didnt rush in perfectly, but it was better than that last shot, and swim was pretty confident it wasnt going to miss like last time because it wasnt that bad. suddenly, after shooting, his arm itched intensely all over, and had strange sharp pains everywhere. his entire forearm, and some of his upper arm turned COMPLETELY white, and puffed up like no other. he started sweating tremendously, and his heart started beating super fast. he ran to the bathroom and his face had no color. he started getting intense head rushes and blacking out (you know sometimes when you stand up too fast... and everything sort of goes black) ... yea.. well that kept happening. he was staying at his moms house tonight so he was one second away from running in there and telling her to call 911. (swims mom thinks swim is the perfect child and would probably have a heart attack if she found out swim smoked cigarettes or weed...just think about HEROIN). but he decided not too unless he started to think he was really going to die, ..which he did...so im not really sure why he didnt go in there. i guess getting caught doing heroin is way worse than dying to swim.. ANYWAYS, he kept putting a towel on his arm soaked in extremely hot water. eventually, he stopped having those weird blackouts, heart stopped going so fast, and his face got a little more color. his arm however, an hour n a half after this happened, is still not normal. you know when you miss a shot...and your arm gets all splotchy/puffy in spots? well it basically looks like one HUGE splotch around most of his arm. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED??!?!?!??! did swim collapse his vein? or rupture it? plz, someone answer. because it freaked swim the FUCK out. swim really thought he was going to die or something though when he started blacking out. and after he stopped thinking he was going to die, he honestly thought he was going to loose his arm... which i hope swim still doesnt...because the arm still looks not normal, and still is kinda sore. hm. im sure its fine. but yea, anyone know what happened???

Is SWIM sure he didn't missed the vein?? If he did miss the vein that could explain a few things, however the blacking out and white looking face seems to be lack of blood reaching the brain. The fast heart beat makes SWIY think it wasn't an OD (though SWIY injected cocaine too) my guess is that something you injected caused your vein to be blocked somehow. Maybe a solid particle that didn't dissolve.

Tell SWIY to go to the doctor to get his arm checked ASAP. And next time, tell him he is old enough to call 911 himself and then his mom won't have to know as doctors have to keep the secret.

I'm sure his mom would rather accept her son makes some hard drugs than accept her son is dead.

Sounds like u partially collapsed/damaged and or missed the vain then had a anxiety/panic attack. If your arm ain't turning blue and you still have good feeling in it(i sent numb) then i would say your arm will be ok, but its still a good idea to go see the doc.

this happened to swim using just heroin and swim talked to a friend thats a doctor and he said it had something to do with hitting an vein your not supposed to use. It was very scary and swim couldnt close his hand while it was happening too but after that swim stopped using needles and is just fine

SWIM has an idea..

He thinks SWIY missed the vein on the first shot, and injected the cocaine/heroin cocktail into your muscle tissue. The heroin shouldn't do much except absorb slower, but the cocaine would numb the area due to its use as an anesthetic. Cocaine also constricts the blood vessels, so you would have less blood going to the area.

The blackouts and fast heart rate sound like you had a panic attack because of the numbness and odd sensations.
