Purchasing syringes in canada

Quick question, can you purchase syringes in canadian pharmacies without a prescription? Are the laws different from province to province? Checked the net and found info for the states, but none for canada.

Just go in and ask, be positive! i did this years ago in vancouver bc as well as sask and ont. Shit i even went to a vet and got some.Know what your asking for and be straite up 2 out of ten should sell. good luck

As far as I can tell, the handling of syringe laws and needle-exchange programs are the responsibility of provincial governments. I'm pretty sure that syringes are available over-the-counter in most (if not all parts) of Canada, but I could be wrong; certain guidelines regarding the sale of syringes may differ from province to province. Needle-exchange programs are definitely available in Saskatchewan and free syringes can be obtained through public health facilites; I'm not sure exactly how the laws differ from province to province but I'll post an update if I run across anything regarding this.
