GHB: "Liquid Ecstasy" featured on UK prime time show 'Eastenders'

Well. That's got to be the final nail in the GBL coffin for the UK.

With blundering authorities (see post #10 here) procrastinating over the imminent legislation of gamma butyrolactone (GBL), a prodrug to GHB, this is sure to hasten their decision:

Popular british 'soap' show "Eastenders" features prominent GHB storyline-
Full-of-woe character Stacey beds down in A&E for a night after consumption of a G and alcohol overdose. And oh yeah, GHB is lovingly referred to as "liquid ecstasy".

This is sure to lead to further demonisation of GHB by the british media and, in turn, GBL. Fantastic.
As has been said before, chances that alcohol status will be scrutinised due to its synergy with the GHB? Nil. The hypocrisy.

I haven't watched that depressing show in years, but I can imagine just how they might run with a G storyline!

They could show her reading this advert from an old copy of High Times. You know, whilst she jabs a hypodermic full of "hash" into her eyeball after dropping a tab of "cake". Great factual television.

SWIM once injected Cake into his eyeball and snorted two 'tattie dreels' of Klarky Cat and ended up in A&E with severe Czech Neck.
Not only that, but SWIM also managed to puke up his own pelvis bone and his arms were left feeling like two weeks in a bad balloon. Not fun, kids.

And while on the subject of demonisation, here's one SWIM wrote earlier: http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/sho...56&postcount=6

Especially considering the long term damager to his Shatner's Bassoon. He's lucky he didn't end up crying all the water out of his body.
