Inhaling - drinking a joint

Just thought swim would share with other swimmers a method of smoking pot swim and his friends used to do. They always called it drinking a joint. Basically one fills up a cold glass with smoke and drinks it up. One starts with a pen ( the type that can be taken apart at each end) One takes apart the ball point and the other end, leaving a tube. In the meanwhile have a tall glass, preferably a hurricane glass (the ones that look kinda like a small vase) in the freezer for about an hour or so. Roll up a doobie and slip it into the small end of the hollowed out pen. Put it about halfway in or so. Once the glass is frozen good take it out and light up the doobie. One sticks the lit end into their mouths(like when givving a shotgun). Put the pen into the glass down toward the bottom and start blowing the smoke down there, verry very carefully(slowly, the smoke can blow all over if not careful). Because the glass is frozen(and partially because of the shape of a hurricane glass) the smoke will stay at the bottom of the glass and just hover around in there. Blow as much as one likes in there. One can actually take a whole joint in one hit this way, its crazy. When one is done, CAREFULLY remove the pen. Now one puts the glass at their mouths and tilts it up slowly like drinking, at the same time inhaling ever so slightly. The smoke will hug the glass and go right into ones mouth. It looks cool as hell from onlookers perspective.
Just thought swim would bring that up as swim was just thinking about trying it again. Its been probably 10 years since swim has done this.

why not just use hot knives(spots)???
they are easy as all hell and give you a good hit and can be used as sort of a cheap vaporiser

Used to use the knives for hash back in the day when it could be found. Drinking a joint is a totally different thing realy. How does one use knives for smoking cannabis?

heat 2 knives on stove top or gas element(gas is best of course).
break bud(or hash, or hash oil) up into small balls then with 1 of the hot knives pick up the spot(it will stick because of the heat) then press together with the other knife and inhale!!!
swiy may want a friend to 'drive' your spot and you 'drive' theres, and swiy may want to cut the end off a plastic bottle(glass is better) and use as a funnell to inhale thru...!!??

If swiy havent tried before then this is a seriously easy way to get stoned and is very conservative on swiys stash!!!!

p.s. if you heat knives and then leave to cool a few seconds before picking up spot you can pretty much mimic the effects etc of a vaporiser.....

Smoke will appear to cling to anything cold.

This method is not very efficient because thc has weight even in smoke and falls from the smoke and its also sticky so it clings to bongs. This would have the same problem a gravity bong has, it would produce stale hits if it was left for more than like 10 seconds without inhaling.

Stale hits are very harsh and contain very little thc, for example a bong that was hit and not cleared would produce a stale hit for the next person and should just be blown out. You can do this by lifting the bowl and blowing were the bowl was that should clear it.

Swim has tried this method of smoking with success before, but this is a very inefficient way of concentrating smoke.

cosmicruler: Yes swim have tried this many times with hash as swim stated above. Never tried it with weed though. Did not know it would work the same.

purplehaze: It never tasted stale to swim. Not harsh at all, in fact the cool thing about it is that one can take half or a whole joint in one hit if so desired. Not what swim would recomend but still possible. One hardly blows out any smoke and it gets one high as hell. Just thought swim would throw out the idea for something to try out of bordum. Not trying to push it on anyone. Swim has done this many times and has been smoking for over 25 years. Trusm swim, it works, swim would'nt lie about it. Thats not why swims here. Not the most efficient? Definitly not, not what swims claiming. Just a different, cool, way to get toasted.

Oh oh, Swim loves the knives. Done hot knives for yrs & yrs, the best way to get stoned but close behind are the bucket bongs. Just fill a bucket with water, cut the bottom off a bottle and then make a foil removable lid for the small end of the bottle. Put the bottle down in the water with the small end at the top, now put on your foil lid, fill with weed. Lite it with ya lighter and slowly pull it up through the water and the smoke will get sucked in to the bottle and once filled and at the top. Take the foil lid off. Exhale, then suck the smoke out of the bottle as you push it down, it empties of smoke and fills with water. Just another good way to save ya weed and get hammered.

The ol bucket bong. Seen it done but swim never actuall tried it himself. Swim is kickin back with the ol bong right now. Swim is usually a joint smoker but has been getting back into the bong lately. One can taste the bud a little better. Going good with the vodka shots(lemon drops).

Oh yeah baby try it, swims stoned off em tonight. Some good skunk going about here at the mo. Wish swiy was here, and make sure swiy trys them hot knifes, they really hit the spot. Especially if swiy has some good hash.
